Flew into HOU for my besties birthday this weekend and wanted to avoid chain restaurants. This gem was located right outside our hotel so it was perfect! I ordered the wings special (+ side salad) and hubby got Shrimp Tacos. Both entrees were spicy enough to make your nose run but not so unbearable so you can't enjoy. I'd rate the spice level at out of 5. Service was good and the little peeks of cheeks walking around were tasteful. The atmosphere is very sports bar but I loved the aviator elements like a missile for the beer draft station and bomber jet wings above the bar. The theme was also evident throughout the menu names AND along with $4 we'll drink specials from 11-7p, they also offer a military discount on the bill. A great spot for tourists for sure! read more

Literally still here leaving this review. Not only was the bartender not attentive enough she rather leave the bar to "talk and laugh" with what looks like a manager or something to that degree. she was gone so long I had to. ask the bar back for a Togo box. Took my grandmother here and the place was cool. She love seeing all the women with they little shorts on and boob's out ,it just tickle her little feathers. It reminds her of back in the days, she says she had it going on back then lol . But the food here was okay. I had their apple betty crisp and it was okay . I think the dough was to thick and instead of being mouth watering, my mouth was dry and needed lots of water. However the drinks were good . I have also tasted their wings and salmon before. I went for the "free entree" because it was Veteran's Day and I am a veteran. The manager seated me and was considerate of my disabled status. The waitress hardly spoke any English and this is where the trouble started. I picked an entree from the Tuesday specials list because the waitress barely understood what I was saying. My lunch (chicken fried chicken) was different from the chicken fried steak, which I had ordered. The lunch was okay, but the patty was thin. Later, the waitress brought the bill and seemed to not understand the concept of veteran's day, in frustration I told her to get the manager. The manager pleasantly adjusted the bill. The plentiful TV's were tuned to sports channel, I guess to set a "sports ambience." Overall, I wasn't impressed by the experience. read more

I didn't have to try the food or be sat to feel dissatisfied. The energy from the hostess stand was terrible. Unwelcoming and uninviting to women (regardless if they are applying or dining). Where's the smiles? Where's the beauty? Friendliness? These type of sports bars, pride themselves in their waitress staff yet the women are not giving. Appearance wise or personality wise. I was disappointed in yet another bombshells. It doesn't matter o if it's in Spring, off of 288, off of Southwest Freeway, or even 290 this organization is trash all the way around. The worst, and I mean THEE WORST ribeye steak I've ever had. I asked for medium rare, but this thing came out purple and was cold in the middle. I could blow bubbles with this thing! I don't know what they seasoned it with, but I've been served mess hall chicken and rice that had more flavor. I had to put so much salt on it I've scheduled a coronary calcium scan for only $159 tomorrow. It's my own fault for ordering a ribeye from a "pub grub" type establishment, but come on man...how hard is it to season a steak, even if you don't know how to cook it. I had a little mishap and went to the wrong Bombshells for a date but quickly realized that I didn't follow the right directions. Paying attention to detail is key people, lol. Anyhow, we sat out on the patio and it was a beautiful breezy night for a drink! My date had a beer and some sweet potato fries and I had a strawberry margarita and chips with queso and salsa. The strawberry margarita was really clumpy. I've had better but it was okay. It didn't have a lot of alcohol in it which is good for me. Our waitress was very nice and very cute. The waitresses are scantily clad and they all have their booties out, lol. My date had a lot to look at! I was impressed by the music they played and so we're the other patrons. They actually had a DJ which was really cool! They have food options but my gut feeling is that this place is good for drinks and appetizers. Overall it was good, not great but good. I visited after a round of golf with a few of my boyz. It was on a Saturday about 1. The place was slow and we sat there for at least 2.5 hours eating and drinking and it never picked up. The service and the food was not bad. I had the chicken wings and they were pretty good. Everyone had a clean plate so I'm going to assume the food was good for them as well. What you expect to see is eye candy, nope none of that. The waitress was nice but not eye candy and the patrons definitely not eye candy. However, with that said this place does have potential and I will check it out again if it last. read more
