I'm sad to give this place only 2 stars. I'm Vietnamese from California, and my boyfriend was really craving Pho. So we decided to try this place. Walking in I can tell that it has a modern take on Vietnamese good. That worries me, because sometimes modernizing traditional Vietnamese dishes ruins it.
My boyfriend ordered the wagyu Pho, prawn spring rolls, and I ordered the bbq chicken with rice. The Pho and spring rolls tasted ok. The bbq chicken wasn't great, and I couldn't eat more than 1/4 of the dish.
The food presentation is good, which makes you think the food will be amazing. We were disappointed. Maybe I'm giving this restaurant a tough review, but I think they can do better with representing how delicious Vietnamese food really is. read more
