There's changing rooms in this level that may or may not be staffed but I've never had a problem taking anything back that didn't fit on second try. They will even refund things bought online. There is a bell in each of the chancging rooms so if you are in there and need something just press it and someone will come and help you. They frequently have sales and you can grap yourself a huge bargain like a top for around £3 and jeans for around £10. This shop really is great for the larger ladies out there, they make you feel comfortable when you are in there never self concious. I would higly reccommend it.

They sell mens and womens clothing downstairs and then they have childrens and teenagers clothing along with underwear for women upstairs. This is a well planned out shop that offers all the latest fashions and accessories. They also have great sales on in January too. This is about the only time that I do visit this shop nowadays though due to their prices slightly increasing. I have always managed to get parking outside of the shop though when I have visited here without any problems.

There seems to be more ladies and childrens clothes though rather than mens. Upstairs within the shop is mainly the childrens clothes. They have young childrens on one side and older to teenagers on the other. Prices throughout are really good and the same goes for the quality. They do have sales on in the New Year too and I often look in here for some bargains for my grandchildren as they grow so fast. Members of staff are constantly walking around the shop floors sorting out clothes or serving customers on the tills but if you ever need help they are more than happy to help you.

There are plenty of changing rooms and I have never had to queue to use one. The sales have great reductions so there's always a chance for a bargain. My only gripe is that there is little for children in this store, so one I would have to travel to another town, if shopping in there for my 10 year old daughter.

It is just outside the town centre over the bridge and has ample parking. It is a light, airy shop and i have never felt crowded in there. The shop is clearly divided into sections and i think is easily navigated. Matalan has some great prices and the majority is of good quality, washing up quite well (always a good indicator in my book). When we were there at end of October (a weekend break to Gt Yarmouth) the entrance to the car park and some of the car park was flooded quite a bit, it was still accessible and admittedly it had rained quite a bit over the weekend.
