You walk through the door and straight into a long rail of mixed and confused clothing. Around the walls are brand new items - such as gift bags and cards. The really interesting things are in a strange little ante-chamber in the back. The prices here are still ok and haven't inflated like a lot of charity shops in the area. Still, its design does make you want to leave as soon as you've walked in. It's an uncomfortable shop to be in - which is a shame because it's for a very good cause.

My so has been kitted out in Matalan gear for numerous Scout camps over the past decade and has never complained or at least to my face! The queue to pay can get rather long at times, although parking is plentiful and easily accessed from the town centre. The homeware department is ideal for students or those on a tight budget, with crockery and bedding at bargain prices. In all, not the most fashionable of clothing but cheap.

The staff are always pleasant. There always seems to be a few sale rails in here with lots of bargains to be had. I think it stocks normal, petite and maternity ranges, so a good range really. Clothes are of really good quality here and I have always found them stylish. Not too pricey for a High St store. Nice selection of shoes, boots and jewellery too. Considering there is not much choice in Haverhill for clothes, this is definitely a good store to have in Haverhill.

They sell everything from handbags to shoes and all kinds of clothes. They have a large changing room with plenty of cubicles. The display of shoes is really good rather then all on one shelf they are laid out at the back of the store in a square with plenty of seating. There bags are atractivly displayed on glass shelving so you can see what the bags look like all over. They always seem to have a sale on which is good as I feel there prices are really rather high. I know its good fashion but is still a little pricey in my opinion (but then I do normally shop in Primark).

Asked an employee. Very polite. He confirmed that the second floor was more store and a women's section. Also on offering was more sport equipment variety, roller blades, working neon vests, and a game / toy section manned by to employees behind a counter. That game/toy corner looked like a toys r us and a Game Center found a spot and grew out of the wall. Seriously, not a complaint, just surprised me. Purchased a foam roller and a jump rope. May return for a jacket or hoodie, possibly an umbrella. Good prices. Nice staff. (American in England)
