His business wasn't listed on Yelp - but I had such a positive experience, I had to add it. I can't express enough how happy I am with the service I received, as well as the end result. He worked with me from concept to design to build of a outdoor wooden surround for my garbage, recycling and condenser. He has superb design sense and the sketches nailed it first go-round. He did a fantastic job for a very reasonable price. Plus he was very considerate of my home and left it clean as a whistle. You…read morewill be hard-pressed to find someone else in the northern NJ area that deals specifically with these stone types as most stone yards stock mostly granite, marble, and quartz slabs. I used Garden State Soapstone on two separate projects while renovating fireplace hearths in my home. On both occasions the parts came out perfect. If you only need a small piece for a smaller project like mine they have plenty of scrap/remnant pieces to choose from. These remnant pieces enabled me to keep my project cost down when compared to having to purchase an entire slab for a full kitchen or larger project.
