We ordered two medium orders of their boneless chicken wings, expecting fairly large pieces of chicken per pictures online and other experiences with boneless chicken wings. In reality, we got tiny baby chicken nuggets, like Chick-Fil-A size. We also ordered fries for $4.50, expecting a pretty sizable amount for that price. I swear they were a handful of frozen Ore-Ida fries. And they charged us $35 for the whole meal!! I'm in Houston for a few weeks and this is my second time to this Midtown location. The first visit I ordered the wings/drums combo and the Bulgogi. The chicken was amazing, perfectly crunchy and juicy. My favorite was the soy garlic drums! The bulgogi wasn't the best I've had. My second visit I ordered the boneless chicken wings and the kim chee fried rice with bacon. I should of stuck to the actual wings and drums. They boneless version looked like nuggets. They were soo dry and flavorless, barely any sauce. A few of the pieces were pretty chewy. Not one piece tasted crunchy at all. For $36 I would think that it would be best chicken I've ever had but it did not even come close. Too expensive these "fancy nuggets". Next time I'll stick to actual wings! So basically just stick to actual chicken wings or drumsticks and you'll be good. read more

My last experience at the Houston Midtown location was horrible, wings were soggy and we received them 8 minutes early from pick up time. Man who delivered them yelled at us for parking where we parked when we were going to go inside to pick them up at the pick up time designated in the app. He brought them out 8 minutes early and there was not even a clear curbside parking slot and where he yelled at us to park next time, there were no parking spots. Also the first time I placed the order the app said it was declined however my money was taken out & when I called they had no orders under my name so all of this happened after being charged TWICE for the meal. Well, color me impressed; this place was perfect. The décor was stylish, the food was delicious and the drinks were tasty and flowing. The Astros game was playing and everywhere you turned you had access to a TV without having to strain your neck to catch a glimpse. The owner was very hospitable and the service was on par. I just wanna start off by saying thank you to Andi/Andrea she was so sweet she had such a great vibe and so happy to help! If it wasn't for her I wouldn't have gone out of my comfort zone to try something I always said I'd never try. As picky as I am I have to say the spicy chicken tacos w coleslaw was sooooo good SPICY for sure kicked me in the back of my throat as soon as I took a bite but it was delicious and the coleslaw surprisingly was a great combination it mellowed out the spicyness. Never thought I'd like coleslaw especially on my tacos. TRY IT THOUGH. We got the drumstick and wings combo spicy. Funny enough this was not as spicy as the tacos. It's one of the better flavors I've ever had though. The chicken itself was really good quality it was fried to the perfect crunch and then glazed with the spicy flavor and it had a hint of sweet not overpowering at all which gave it a nice twist to the spice. Again as someone who doesn't like their chicken sweet it was amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try something else. I have eaten here a handful of times and each time has been fine - I'm not expecting gourmet wings or anything. However, this last visit was just disappointing when I tried something than my usual bone-in wings. Chicken strips were incredibly dry and tough to chew through. Found myself dipping the already sauced strips in ketchup to moisten them up. Fries were the opposite somehow... soggy and limp... also my first time trying them. Don't know if the place is on a downslope or something. The place was pretty empty during dinnertime, so it's not as if there was any traffic that would explain the poor quality. Just left the restaurant after placing an order for lunch. I walked in and the person(s) behind the bar were tending to a young lady who appeared to be picking up an order, also. After walking by me a few times, I was struck by the fact that the staff failed to acknowledge me, to be clear, they weren't busy, I was standing relatively near the other customer and any acknowledgement would have been acceptable. After they took care of the other customer the woman working behind the bar area continued to ignore me. She apologized, I was exasperated and said something like damn, as she was looking at the bags for to go orders, she said something slick like did I have a problem (not that but something like that), which led to me saying I couldn't believe they hadn't even acknowledged me. I had my card out ready to pay during this whole interaction, but when she said that, it was Lady FUCK your food and I left.
