Any trip over to Bondi for a day at the beach should be punctuated with a stop-off at this namesake nail bar. The shop's patron, Tina, is a welcoming, friendly and ever-so chatty manager who'll carefully remove your foam thongs at the end of your treatment and farewell you as you walk out the door. Beware the loyalty card - a stamp is only rewarded to those who pay for a mani-pedi combo, but at just $35 it's a pretty good deal and after five you'll get one for free. My favourite part: they do that thing where each nail is sealed off with the polish by painting across the tip after colouring it in your OPI or Essie of choice - yay for a solid week of chip-free nails. And, you can also request a spritz of quick-dry spray if you're in a rush.

If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. You will leave here with rough heels, cuticles hanging off, smudged nail polish and bloody cuts! I went to this nail salon twice... the first time, I had to explain to the manicurist that leaving bits of cuticle hanging off is not a proper manicure. She fixed it, but only after I pointed it out and it was with a lot of attitude as though she was doing me a favour. Stupidly, I tried to give this place one more chance. The worst experience! They are so concerned with squeezing in more and more customers back to back that the quality of their work suffers. Two different manicurists - two different cuts that drew blood! They are so rushed that they don't care if they cut you. Next came the fact that they seem to think that scrubbing the foot for 3 seconds is a proper pedicure... for $20. No! It is not ok to put some moisturizer and paint the nails for $20! I could do that at home for free! I get a pedicure to have my cuticles cleaned and feet properly scrubbed until they are as soft as a baby's bottom. And for asking to have the cuticles cleaned and feet scrubbed properly, what did I get? Yelled at and called a difficult customer! Why? Because I'm asking them to do their damn job?! Or perhaps not draw blood!? Awful people, awful place, awful customer service and awful quality. They care about taking your money and that is it! There are hundreds of nail salons in Bondi, and at least 6 more on Bondi Rd. alone!

I found this nail salon on yelp while on holiday in Bondi Beach. Loved the fact that they were open on Sunday. I walked in with a nice warm welcomed. The staff were very nice. I got a pedi and refill. They did a great job on both. Loving my nails and feet. I definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Very disappointed with the service today... I had a good experience last time that's why I came back. I've seen superb nail art on IG Bondi nails page and was so excited to try some nail art/french tips but unfortunately, the results are horrendous. My nails are not shaped well, some are longer than others and not neat. The French art is disgraceful, it was rushed and looks horrible. Not worth it considering the waiting time prior to the procedure (because this place is always overcrowded) and the high prices. Not coming back! read more

I get Lucia to do my nails at Bondi Nails. Lucia has great attention to detail and the nails last for weeks.

Gel manicure oxidised 3 days after (2.5 days after initial appointment). Would give this place 0 stars if possible. Have a look the picture of what they say is "normal". Any feedback given to Bondi Nails result in the management saying the customer is rude/ wrong or unacceptable. Avoid this place at all costs read more

This place is awful rang Thursday 11th dec 2014 for an appiontment for my daughter and her friend and asked if they still have student discount they said yea and it it ALSO advertieed on their web site , the the lady said that the discount is finished and I had to ask what the price was, they told me #10 more so $25 for studensts with ID. OK they asked if I wanted to book and I replied need to check with my daughter and her friend to see if they could afford the $25. The lady got a bit annyoued. After speaking with my daughter I rang back the next morning only to be told that I could not make the booking now for Fri because I didn't calll back on the Thursday. So I aske for Saturday the lady was hesitated and then spoke some language with another person and said no I insisted and got 10sm for Saturday 13th. The lady didn't even take doen my daughters name for the bokking and when I mentioned that she said not necessary - { I throught that very strange and felt that the appointment was not taken) I mentioned this to my daughter but she was excited just to get her nails done. Then Saturday morningmy daughter leaves for the appoinmtnet travelling my bust from Malabar to Bondi shecalled me to say she would be 10mins late because of the bus and asked if I could call the nail place to let them know she would be late. I did this for her the time being approc 9.50am that my daughter would be 10 mins late the lady that answered the phone said that is ok not to worry, then I get a phone call from my daughter saying they wont take her now because she is late and needs to wait at least 1hr. My daughter just left. So tell me this is a professional nail salon why on earth would you go never again they are very unprofessional, no communication and say one thing to you and do something else. I found them very rude after my first initial phone call simply because I said I would call back from that 2nd call they were rude and probably never even make the appointment for my daughter in the Saturday. TAKE THIS A WARNING DON'T EVER GO THERE THEIR SERVICE IS ABSOLUTE UNPROFESSIONAL AND THEY SURE DON'T LIKE STUDENTS THERE. read more
