The staff and Manager Tiana at this location, are operationally clueless . The evening dining is beginning, the manager complained she only has two servers, clearly there servers roaming around, the restaurant relatively empty and they claim we cant be seateated because they know they have reservations, but they don't know what time because the computer is down. We did call prior to arrival, we were told they aren't making reservations just come and we'd be seated upon arrival. That clearly didn't happen. Last night we were there for dinner. We had reservations and were seated promptly. Our server introduced himself and returned with water and a bread and oil plate, but no serving plates. After our drinks were delivered and our meals arrived we were appalled at the quality of the ingredients and the poor preparation. We had a Chicken Marsala and a Chicken with spinach and goat cheese. The best that could be said is that it was delivered hot. Both dishes were bland and very poorly seasoned. Additionally, both entrees featured frozen chicken. The side items were broccoli and what appeared to be herbed mashed potatoes. The broccoli was also frozen and the potatoes could have come from either a box or leftover from a previous service. I do in fact consider myself in a position to judge this meal. I've cooked for almost 30 years and would never, under any reasonable circumstances have let a meal that inferior leave my kitchen. A reasonable diner expects fresh, not frozen. For the majority of the meal left , no notice was made or a question asked about satisfaction. We made a promise to not bother them again with our business. We've shared this with friends as well. If you like chain foods, get a better meal; visit a burger joint. read more

From the Drinks to appetizer the meal was excellent . Came early in the afternoon which made the service time very efficient. All of the meals were well prepared and tasteful from the calamari to the trout and mashed potatoes to the salmon and spinach , everything was perfectly prepared . I came to bonefish on the request of one of my friends that I was on a trip with. We were at a weekend women's leadership conference, and the restaurant was very close to our hotel -- it was super convenient. The first night I had the gnocchi & and to be honest it was a little too heavy for my liking. But that was my fault, I was going off a limb and trying gnocchi for the very first time. I didn't realize how heavy the dish actually was. The mashed potatoes were also very dry and not flavorful. The next day I had the pecan covered cod and that was good but by the time that I ate it, I was so full. What really stood out to me where all of the appetizers. I really loved the muscles (the YUMMIEST white wine, garlic juice), the bang bang shrimp, and the calamari. The servings were also huge which is always a plus. Came here for the first time with my mother and sister after moving back to the area. The restaurant had a slightly dark but romantic ambiance and kind wait staff which we appreciated! Unfortunately, the parking lot of the restaurant was poorly laid out with limited spaces and the upkeep of the outside of the restaurant was not the best. It was pouring on the day we visited and having to walk across the small street to actually get to the restaurant was not great. We all ended up ordering variations of salmon including the teriyaki, cedar plank and traditional with mango salsa. They all were cooked wonderfully, but left a lot to be desired as far as flavoring and portion size were concerned in my opinion. I feel like the price of the food was too much for what you actually received! The drink I had was delicious, however, mixed well with a tasteful amount of alcohol. I enjoyed the overall presentation of the restaurant but was disappointed with the quality of food served! Considering it was a Friday night, we got a table almost immediately (we did go before 6pm which helped....it was packed when we departed!). Service was OUTSTANDING - our server was Robert and we dined in the seated-bar area (high tops). I cannot say enough about our service - it was like a REAL fine-dining service quality (far above Bonefish level, no offense!). I was so impressed! All our food was really good, it wasn't 'perfection' but at Bonefish I don't expect $40/plate quality when I'm paying $15-20/plate....you get what you come for, right??!! I had Broiled Salmon and it was cooked perfectly (not overcooked) and the Burre-blanc sauce was very nice; veg (broccoli) was just ok, looked like a couple spots got grilled and were burnt on edges. Hubby is Vegan and they were very accommodating, plenty of options for him & very easy to modify items for 'no butter' or 'no dairy'. It was a great meal for the value & the ambiance was nice. When busy it can be loud, but THANK goodness there was no loud music playing & we could still have a one-on-one discussion between hub's & I. we've been twice because it's a great halfway meeting point between Raleigh and Charlotte. Each time the food was excellent. I've had the combination plate of mahi-mahi and grilled shrimp. And then picked my two sides as fries and jasmine rice. All of it was hot and fresh. The second time we opted for a dessert and got the three hot cookies. They were the hottest cookies we've ever had and also ordered the melt totally melt in your mouth chocolate brownie and ice cream. So so yummy! This is located next to the mall. not inside it, but its own freestanding building across a lot from the convention center. We had difficulty finding it first, but if you know where you're going and look for those landmarks then you'll find it easily. Also when you go to leave at night and get back on the highway it looks like you're going in a very dark path that is the exit right behind the building. One of the few restaurants I wanted to go to, and glad I did. Standard Bonefish with great atmosphere and sat at bar since I was alone and got great service from the team. I always start with a cold beer ( Stella) and the mussels. The best ever! I need to expand a bit but always enjoy them while I decide on what to get. The bar was full so I was happily placed between good looking people ( doesnt hurt) and decided to go with a new choice- the salmon healthy salad- something new I saw and it was the bomb!!! I typically get a white fish- either Sea Bas or Cobia , Pan Asian ( I'm very repeatable) but the salmon was fresh, not fishy and the salad was full of mixed greens, sweet potatoes and quinoa - made a massive meal and NO CARBS! I refused the bread even eating the mussels which I give myself a star for because its so good- but what a great meal. Bar was stocked with good scotch, bourbon and vodkas, great beer selection and had a good Pinot with dinner that went down smooth. Perfect place for a rainy cold night and enjoyed it very much!!! Highly recommend especially to those who have not been. This is an upscale place but not Ruths Chris pricing. We had our rehearsal dinner here about 15 years ago at the one in Four Seasons. They switched up the menu which is good. They also need to bottle that seasoned oil they give you with the warm bread. Update to review due to poor service. The server for the table had at least six or more tables, including a large party. Took awhile to get greeted to place the beginning of the order from their iPad, our appetizer came out before our regular, water and tea drinks came out after our sever walked by multiple times. The server doesn't bring out our drinks a separate food runner does and it took forever to get someone's attention to get something to tell them something was missing or to get a refill. All blooming brands are having this issue trying to make the server take less time at tables and it makes the overall service very poor. The food is still pretty good but the experience is so bad. We had a toddler and infant car seat and they did not give us a table we could use a sling at and did not give a booster seat or high chair.
