Corn chowder with crab in a to go container. This is a bowl of soup to go.

Bonefish has amazing service. I went for a girls night out and it was very cozy. There wasn't a lot of people at this location for the timeframe (5pm) so it was very ideal. We enjoyed great food that was seasoned and cooked to perfection. You can tell the restaurant takes pride with the presentation of the food and facility. Everything was amazing. Also, on Monday's Martinis are 5 dollars!

Our server, Tia, was phenomenal! She exemplified first class service. My stop at the bar prior to my group's was pleasant and I was presented with a top-notch martini. For dinner, we were comfortably ensconced in a large booth and even with large groups of market visitors, the noise was absorbed in the intimate ambiance of the dimly lit dining room. In this case, the photos don't do the food justice. I started with Crab corn chowder, which was perfect for a damp, chilly fall evening, but the fish was simply delicious. Perfectly flaky and complimented well by the sautéed spinach and bacon. We migrated back to the bar to close our evening with a nightcap and I left with plans to return soon.

If you're looking for fine dining food with a more relaxed atmosphere and at VERY reasonable prices, give Bonefish a shot. The service was excellent, the food was magnificent (I strongly recommend the chimichurri bistro filet and the truffle fries) and the vibe was immaculate. I will be back!

    $5 Monday drinks are delicious

Bonefish Monday is a must! The drinks are amazing and perfectly priced. Bailey and Bryce are amazing bartenders who know how to perfectly craft a drink. Zesty pickles are perfectly fried crispy with. Zesty mustard sauce. It doesn't really give mustard vibes but it is also delicious The chargrilled oysters are decent. I would give them a 7/10. They aren't bad but they aren't amazing. The bread that comes with it was very chewy. Honestly it's not needed because there is nothing to soak up I would recommend more garlic butter and seasoning for the oysters on top of the Parmesan which is all you really taste.

I really miss the locations we had in Winston Salem. Was consistently good and the bartenders were great and inventive with the cocktails. I was given a gift card to Bonefish about a week before they closed and have been holding on to it. The big day came when we finally could use it. We were treated by a very friendly hostess who sat us on the bar side of the restaurant which was not a problem and actually where I was hoping. We were treated pretty quickly by the bartender who offered a few meal selections. We followed his recommendations. I had the salmon with crab meat. My wife had the Cod. My meal came out piping hot, slightly overcooked but not dried out. I could really taste the crab but a lot (at least it seamed) was piled on it. He informed that my meal came with 2 sides. Sadly, after tipping out I saw that he charged me for both sides. I got the Brussels and they were just not that good. They seemed to be sitting in too much liquid for too long and were a wet, soggy mess. Neither one of us finished our meal and even our cat refused the fish. The bread and olive oil was good. Perhaps I should have stopped there with the bottle of wine we bought. The restaurant was clean with the exception of the men's bathroom where it appears a bottle of soap exploded and was all over the floor. I let the hostess know. It bothers me a great deal being cheated on a bill and I can only assume knowingly as he manually punched in the charges. Will not return. WATCH YOUR BILL!

The service and atmosphere make up for the price. While it is good, I wouldn't say it's to the point where the prices match the level of cuisine. The Lobster Ravioli had me fishing for the taste of lobster, and I'm sad to have missed the oysters. The calamari was great although!

They were quite busy for a Sunday night. They gave us a 45-60 minute wait, but it ended up being only 20 minutes. We shared the bang bang shrimp appetizer--killer as always. I ordered sirloin and crabcake. The steak was cooked to medium rare perfection. The crab cake was small, but very tasty. The asparagus was thick but very tender. The potatoes were excellent. My wife ordered the fish tacos with the mango salsa. It was outstanding. Our server, Miracle, was attentive without being overbearing. Great visit. Too hungry for pictures of the main course. Sorry.

I've never had a bad meal at Bonefish Grill and this time was no different. I stopped in for lunch with the ladies and ordered the bang bang shrimp tacos, corn & lump crab chowder, and fried Brussels sprouts. If you love the bang bang shrimp, you'll love the bang bang shrimp tacos. I decided to switch it up since I usually get the bang bang shrimp as an appetizer. The corn & crab chowder was rich and creamy, and you could actually see the crab in the chowder. I hate when there's supposed to be crab in something but you never actually see it. You can't go wrong with fried brussels sprouts, and these sprouts were tossed in a sweet sauce. As a table, we decided to order the toasted pumpkin ravioli because we were all intrigued, and wanted to give it a try. After we each took a ravioli, we were all upset that we didn't have our own orders. Fried ravioli is good on its own, but when you top it with a pepita-parsley garlic sauce, feta cheese, and lemon zest, that completely elevates the dish. My only critique is the service was a little slow although the restaurant was pretty empty. I think they must've been shortstaffed, but our waitress did her best and we appreciated her.

My experience was mediocre. We were assigned 4 servers before we were actually served. The 1 that we ended up with was pleasant. We sat in the bar area. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. I ordered the Cod Imperial with broccoli and mashed potatoes. The Cod was slightly overcooked and the stuffing was a little salty. The garlic mashed potatoes were good. The broccoli was OK. The Sangria was good. My friend had a Ceasar salad with salmon and she said it was good.

The food and drinks were really good tonight at Bonefish. They only had 2 cooks but I think they did a good job of getting the food out in a decent amount of time. The drinks from the bar did not disappoint. Huge shout out to Hailey and the other bartenders. The Mexican street corn was really good too.

We came here for the land and sea bourbon dinner. Marquis hosted and was amazing. They had prizes galore and $60 was such a great value. The whole team works like a well oiled machine. The dinner came with 2 cocktails and 2 bourbon pours. The first course was a scallop crostini with bacon jam. they accommodated my husband's allergy by giving him shrimp instead. The second course was shrimp over risotto. The risotto was mushy but still fine. The third course was halibut with smashed potatoes and roasted garlic. The halibut was a little dry but still tasty. The last course was cheesecake. So good! What a great selection of bourbon and a personalized experience. I will be back with friends.

I threw the suggestion out to Sally and she thought it would be fun to try something new so she picked me up, we got on Gate City Boulevard and drove west until we found this place in a small strip mall. The outside won't necessarily draw your attention, but once you step inside this simple takeout/ dine in spot, the experience is totally different. As soon as we walked in we were approached by a gentleman who must have been the owner. He was incredibly kind and appreciative of our patronage. He explained all the dishes and a little bit about the company itself. This guy was full of pride about Seafood Destiny and I was impressed. Besides dining inside, they offer takeout and catering services. He was particularly proud of some of his dishes and when he told me that the crab legs was a special tonight for $20, I knew that was the best fit for me. You pay at the counter after you choose your selection and then have a seat and wait for your food to arrive. We were the only ones in the restaurant, although I did see a few people pop in for takeout. I could not help but wonder with it being so empty whether the great reviews would match up to what they claimed. I got my Diet Coke from the fountain machine with unlimited refills which always makes me happy. After chatting for a while with Sally, this huge plate came my way. The crab legs special for $20 was amazing. Not only did it have plenty of crab legs, but it came with a half-dozen beautiful shrimp with excellent seasoning, turkey sausage, corn on the cob and delicious scalloped potatoes. I ordered a side of asparagus. Although it was tasty. I don't know if the asparagus was worth $5. On the other hand, the main dish was a real bargain!! The food was delicious. Sally ordered salmon with pasta and loved her dish as well. I just ate and ate and ate and ate and eventually devoured the entire dish. Boy, that was good. No doggy bag here! We were each served a special dipping sauce from the Seafood Destiny. It was sweet and tasty but I was happy to just devour the fish as is. It was well seasoned and scrumptious While we were eating, a young man came out to chat with us. Something told me he was the son of the owner or he was indeed the manager or both lol. We had a nice chat about the place and it's history and he really appreciated our visit and hoped we would spread the word. I will! We arrived at 6:30 and before we knew it it was 8:00 and the place was beginning to close. I devoured my last crab leg, got a refill on my diet Coke and we headed out. Both Sally and I discussed on the way home what a delicious meal that was, how lovely the owners and staff were and what a shame that there not more people in the restaurant. I am hoping that was a fluke on a Tuesday night because Seafood Destiny definitely deserves customers. The place was simple, but the welcoming staff, the good priced seafood meals, the plentiful portions, and most of all, seeing the incredible pride and love the owners put into this place made it a winning combination for me I'm always a big fan of family owned operations and Seafood Destiny deserves your patronage. Whether it's shellfish or salmon or grouper, I highly recommend you head over to this place. As unassuming as it is on the outside, the inside was a delicious and welcoming experience!. I will be back and I hope to see you there!

We settled in on the small outdoor patio on a very fine spring evening for a meal that hit the spot each point along the line. Well... Maybe except for their chairs. These chairs were not the kind you would usually sit outside to eat in, more built for reclining with a drink in hand. It was not comfortable to sit forward and eat my meal. But man, was that meal ever delicious. Chips came out with three types of salsa, and we ordered the guacamole provincial to go with them as well. The chips on their own were decent, but each salsa had a unique flavor and amount of heat that kept things interesting. The guacamole was chunky and full of flavor, with a good enough portion for the four of us. When the meal came, it was clear I had won dinner. I got the "Mezcali's Best" which honestly, I think it was their best effort. Grilled steak, chicken, shrimp, onions, peppers, and zucchini in a chipotle queso sauce. Man. THAT SAUCE. That sauce just simply made the whole thing incredible. To the point when I cleared my plate, my wife had me scrape the sauce onto what was left of hers. In addition, the refried beans had an excellent flavor, I am not usually big on the beans... but this one had me wanting more. Chips used to scoop up some beans, rice, and sauce... were so so good. I would definitely come back here, probably sit inside, and order the Mezcali's best (or anything I can get that chipotle queso sauce on) again.

We watched a couple tables around us, get their food before us, and they had been seated after us.. The server had to go back and check on our dish a couple times before it finally came out. I will say the fish and the chips were fabulous, but the corn was terrible and should probably not even be included on the dish. It was WAY overcooked and chewy. The coleslaw left quite a bit to be desired as well. No seasoning, no flavor and was just bland. When it says wasabi coleslaw, I am thinking it is going to have a little bit of a kick to it but nothing. They could definitely save themselves some money by eliminating the corn from this dish, make the coleslaw an option as an up charge and could lower the price on the dish in general or add a third piece of fish instead of the corn and coleslaw. We started out with cocktails. I had a Hendricks dry martini straight up (it was delicious) and my wife had a Don't Call Me Sweetie which is mix of Hendrick's Gin, Lemon, Cucumber, Basil, Simple, Saline 15. It is very citrus heavy, so be advised. She had them cut it with a bit of cranberry to offset the citrus. For main courses, my wife had the grilled salmon and she chose sautéed garlic spinach and wasabi slaw as her sides. I ordered the shrimp and grits and my side was blackened green beans. Let's talk main course first. My wife's salmon was terrific. Flaky and moist and very tasty. My shrimp and grits was unique because it was a real balance between large pieces of shrimp and the grits. Many times you'll order this dish and end up with a pile of grits with some shrimp sprinkled on top. This version is very tasty and a really nice balance of flavors. The Cajun seasonings have it some kick, but it did not overpower. The side dishes are where we had a couple of surprises. First off the sautéed spinach was really delicious, but my wife's wasabi slaw was bland. It's a huge shocker because when you see the word wasabi, you expected to have some Asian kick to it. This did not. It was hard to even identify that it had wasabi in it. That was a disappointment. The surprise was the blackened green beans. They actually were one of the stars of the show. Their flavor and texture was just awesome. We could've ordered a huge bowl of it and eaten all of it. While it didn't need it, there was a dipping aïoli on the side, just in case we wanted to add that to the green bean experience. As I mentioned off the start, Fishbones is a very casual experience. It's very pub-like in that way. We really loved it and the wait staff, which is a team approach as anyone who passes you makes sure you're doing OK, were kind, upbeat and helpful. Even with the bland slaw, we can't lower our rating because overall the experience was terrific. We will definitely come back.

My flounder was a little bland so I requested some salt & pepper to add more flavor. I got the chili sauce on the side because the fish is the star, not to be covered with Thai chili sauce. Todd was cleaning empty tables near us and stopped by to make sure we enjoyed our meal and would come back. We definitely will!!! Thank you Todd for helping make our girls night dinner delightful!

We had a very nice waitress but we didn't get any water refills. The chairs aren't the most comfortable and the seating is a little tight, but the quality and selection of seafood is excellent if not the best in Greensboro. I would definitely recommend making a reservation. I wish I could give the restaurant 4.5 stars, truthfully it just slightly missed the mark of a perfect 5.
