She then proceeded to chop short layers all over my head. I asked her to fix my bangs and she thinned them out instead of cutting a little length off WHILE she was trying to sell me Bosley MD thickening shampoo. I kid you not. I have had numerous hairdressers do this cut perfectly. This woman made a mess of my hair, even telling me "you can come back if you don't like it." What in the world makes her think I would waste more time and money asking her to fix her mess when she didn't bother to do the right thing the first time? She also quoted me $30 for the cut and then put in $32 into her card reader, not $30. She has Jesus all over her salon but apparently is so ego driven that she can't even follow simple directions and give a decent cut. She told me she did not have time to style it and when I got home and tried to style it myself, it became quite obvious that this cut would not replicate the photo I brought and that is the reason she couldn't style it. What is wrong with this woman? I would not recommend this hairdresser to anyone, unless you want her to purposefully cut your long hair into a mess and chop it to pieces. I am so pissed. She even said to me that the layers would not be even! I was already in her chair and she had started chopping my hair to bits. I would have walked out otherwise. WWJD? What she did to me is literally sheer evil. No Jesus anywhere to be found! PS. See the atttached photo for proof and AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!

I was lucky enough to get a last-minute appointment with Monty (who is a very nice man) to have my…read morehair cut/colored. Unfortunately, it did not come out how I was expecting. While I went in looking for a collarbone length cut with lots of piecey layers and pops of blonde, I ended up with Kelly Clarkson's 2020 skunky highlights look and only a few long layers/face framing. At the advice of a stylist friend, I contacted the salon to let them know I was unhappy with the service. I spoke with David, the receptionist, and explained this and that I was not comfortable having Monty working on my hair again. David stated the owner was out until Tues and could call me then. A few days later, David called me back stating he had a few questions. I explained what I did not like about my cut/color. From there, the call went downhill, I feel as if David and I just went in circles about the same things. He told me three times that their policy is the person who did the hair is normally who addresses any unhappy clients. He also said he spoke with Monty who thought he had understood what I had wanted and had given me that. David continued to insist there was a communication issue and tell me Monty is who fixes other salons color issues and he's great with color. I kept letting him know I understood their policy but was not comfortable seeing Monty again. I ended up getting very frustrated with the call and feeling as if the communication issues were being put on me (David did let me know this was not his intention, hence the "I feel" statements.) I ended up confirming that I would like to speak with Rachel (the salon owner) when she returned on Tuesday. Well, it's Tuesday, and David called me again. He stated that he had spoken with Rachel and that she was sorry that I did not like what I got, and she would be happy to fix it, but I would be considered a new client to her (fair enough), she would charge me (after I already spent close to $300 on services), and she had no openings through the end of the year. To be fair and give credit where it is due, David did offer to reschedule me with Monty, but I am not comfortable seeing someone who botched my hair so terribly (in my opinion). I am extremely disappointed with not only how my hair looks (I've had some bad cuts/colors before but none that I've hated so much that it's hard to look in the mirror, and hard to go anywhere without a hat on) but the customer service I received. I never got to talk with the owner so I'm unsure what was relayed to her regarding this. I will not personally be going back here, but I hope that anyone else who does is extremely detailed about exactly what it is there are looking for and instead of trusting the expert, micromanages every detail.
