This was my first meal in Germany! We came for Munich for the beer, but this restaurant only served…read morewine... we rolled with it! We got seated on the pretty patio surrounded by historic buildings. Good menu of lots of wines and traditional German and Italian food.
We shared a few bottles, and I ordered the flatbread pizza with bacon, sour cream, and chives.... I just saw a pizza that included all of my favorite things in life, and went for it. I had never heard of sour cream on pizza but loved it, the bacon was more like pancetta, and I discovered on this trip that in Germany, they really love their chives. It was delicious! We had a great time catching up, drinking wine and enjoying the beautiful weather. My friends loved their sausage plates, pasta and beef stew (I forgot the name on the menu).
Service was probably among the best we've had in Munich. Great way to kick off our vacay!
