After bringing a few comic books to the counter, I tried to strike up a conversation with him. He became upset for no reason and I swear he started saying "Oh, everything I know is wrong huh? Well I know that Jesus is king, and this world is temporary." He started talking loudly again, and I swear he ranted about the state of the world, public schools, conspiracy theories, and all kinds of crazy things I don't even want to get into. And this went on for twenty minutes, occasionally broken up by him announcing that he was a former history teacher, and smarter than everyone else. After awhile my daughter tugged on my sleeve and said she wanted to leave. I tried asking the owner to complete my sale, and I swear he talked over me, as if we were arguing. The toy collection is insanely fun and super well-curated. I saw everything from original Star Wars figures to Matchbox cars and He-Man. New pieces are added as they are found "in the wild" or donated by collectors and families of collectors that have passed. They even have some duplicate/overflow items available to purchase in a little gift shop area. Many composers wrote music dedicated to her, hoping she would perform it and thus make them famous. I would not expect Fort Smith, Arkansas to have a street named after her.
