I was excited to see a hybrid cross of Britian meeting Brasil. Flori has been nothing but wonderful until I came here. While traveling with my brazillian girlfriend and her sister, I convinced them to step into a piece of Britian. At the door, I'm told please come in, enjoy the live Forro Brazillian music and dance. I'm given a check to help the bartender add up my eventual bill and we enter. At first I thought, what a nice place; people were dancing and having fun, music was good and the atmosphere was welcoming. Then things turned for the worse. The only imported beer was a Guinness despite the list claiming to have more. Good thing I love Guiness but the owner might want to do a bit of research. That's an Irish beer and dont give me that crap about Northern Ireland. Yes yes, but might be a good idea to sell what you advertise. Ok fine no problem, moving on. As we start sipping our beer we noticed in tiny writing on the bill that there is a charge for being there when live music is present. BUT ONLY IF YOU LEAVE AFTER 10pm. NO SIGNS, NO NOTICE AT THE DOOR. Ok, despite the scam for tourists it was 9:50pm so we said, let's down the beer and get out of here. Not cool but at least we have time. CAN IT KEEP GOING DOWNHILL? YEP! We went to the cashier to pay. We are then charged per person an entry fee. We dispute the bill and are told sorry live band blah blah. I showed the cashier my phone and the time of 9:52. Didnt matter. I showed her their own tiny writing on the check. Didn't matter. The locals then took over. Despite stating she wasn't illiterate (anafalbeta) she refused to take off the extra charge. We refused to be suckers and taken advantage of and we demanded the owner. The owner then tried to say it was our fault for them trying to scam us. IT WAS NOT 10pm YET! Finally to get rid of us due to our voices getting louder, the owner told the cashier to redact the extra charge for entry. We paid and started walking towards the exit downing the rest of our beers. At the exit, we were drinking our lasts bits reflecting on what just happened and guess who was following us, the owner. Disgusting. I dont like leaving a review like this because running a business is hard. But if honesty, respect and dignity are already lacking, the business deserves to fail.

We found it on google, in the section "best restaurants in Florianopolis". We arrived around 7pm and were the only customers in the restaurant besides a large group which one in the other room of the restaurant. By the time we left, both rooms of the restaurant, the patio and the bar were all completely full, and a Brazilian jazz band was playing very nice music in the main room. For diner, got 2 pizzas, one with artichoke and one with 4 cheeses. Both of them were just amazingly good and tasty. For drinks, we got the home-brewed beer and a bottle of Cabernet. The restaurant was launching their home-brewed beers, and offering a 1 buy, 1 offer deal for the occasion. The beer was pretty interesting and refreshing. The best of the night was the deserts: we got the chocolate cake (with vanilla ice cream) and the Pineapple with cinnamon and sugar (forgot the name, sorry). Just unforgettable. The service was very good and fast as well: we did not need to speak English but they had an English menu in case you need it. The price was also very reasonable, less than 25$ per person. This restaurant completely deserves to be on the best restaurant list. You must try it if you are visiting Florianopolis.

The variety of pizzas will satisfy any taste, and the toppings are generous and it's truly a real authentic pizza crust. The quality of the toppings were excellent as was the dessert. This is the best pizza I've had in Florianopolis, and I highly recommend it.
