Great radio station for those who appreciate the oldies. My concern though is how not as vast the number of oldies they play given the 3 decades they advertise. Too much rock/alternative, heavier in the 80s era, and not much old R&B. read more

hi, about the station the music is changed so drastically, it has altered so much, there's a ton of 2000 music which doesn't fit in nor does it give nostalgic memories ,the killers and nickelback aren't what I have in mind when I listen to boom it feels like a different station and the music is far too heavy now I'm 72 and prefer your previous format before your 2024 and 2025 changes sincerely mary hillster read more

If you need to improve on your musical knowledge, listen to Boom 97.3 FM. That's how I first got into it, realizing I know nothing about Classic rock even though I've heard of the artists, and the song but couldn't put the names together. Really helpful for Trivia. I remember when this was called Easy Rock 97.3 with it's mellow tunes and you can always count on hearing some Toni Braxton. But now it's definitely 70s 80s and 90s music mostly. Great summer driving music and it's almost non-stop which is nice. read more

I am confused, your promo says 70's 80's and 90's BUT a good quarter to half your songs are from the 60's??? What's the deal?? Don't want to call yourself what you are " Oldies"??? Just own what you are OR stick to the 70's 80's and 90's. Just reminds me of being a kid and my parents listening to an oldies station (which was called an oldies station). read more

This station sucks, I don`t recommend it but if you like it. go for it. It still pretty trash compared to kiss 92.5 or Virgin Radio 99.9 or Flow 93.5, you get the point. This radio station is garbage compared to others. read more

I'm in Aldershot, (a western suburb of Burlington). I'm approx. 2 miles east of Hwy. #6, close to the shores of Burlington Bay.. I listen to Boom 97.3 All Day Long/ at Home, or in My Vehicles!! However, in the evening, I get NOOOO reception from Your Station!! This occurs after approx. 9PM, EVERY NIGHT!! Do You People Who Manage/Operate 97.3 realize How MANY People live in West Buirlington/Aldershot?? This is a Yuppie, Middle Aged Plus Demographic that You are Eliminating EVERY EVENING from Your listening Audience!!! And, THAT SUCKS!!!! Not only for Your Station, but for SOON to be EX-LISTENERS!!! How many of that Audience, that are like Me, are You not covering, and You are LOSING to OTHER Outlets???!! So, You Decrease Your Signal in the Evening, at the Expense of Listenership!
