Both times I was met with a long line that I waited in for over an hour with little to no direction about what I needed to be doing or how I go about picking anything out. The second time I went in I even had an appointment, apparently that did not matter. As I looked around the store I saw two employees doing absolutely nothing but letting the phone ring at the desk and the third employee was working by himself to try and size and fit the huge line coming in the door. I will not be returning this location again. Sad to see.

A lot of botiques in Peoria (there are only a few) are expensive ($60 and up for tops, for example) so this shop was very refreshing, not to mention their clothes were cute! Yesterday was the grand opening of Buckle at their new location! I arrived last night around 6:00…read morep.m. and I noticed how great it looked in it's new spot! Most people that I talked about it were surprised about the new location, I think that it's going to be great for the business! Upon walking inside, I noticed that there was actually quite a bit of activity inside the building. There were a lot of important people getting a tour of the new location, I didn't get to meet the manager but I did get to meet the assistant manager and also chat with a few ladies about the grand opening! Amy was the first one to approach me right when I walked in the door and we were talking about how cute the cow pants, cowboy hat, and matching boots were! Omgosh! Second to approach me was Chelsea, I had complimented her beautiful red hair and I actually asked her if she was a manager because I was getting some manager vibes from her, but she was the assistant manager, I was close haha! After making my rounds around the store the last Lady to approach me was Brooke. She noticed that I was checking out that gorgeous maroon leather jacket, don't even get me started on how beautiful and soft it was, I loved it but it was $99 and I wasn't ready to commit to that. She did try to get me to try it on but I didn't want to put it on and then love it and try to convince myself that it fit in my budget this week lol! I talked to Brooke the longest and she informed me that actually none of the ladies were from the area. They had all traveled from other businesses/ towns to help them with their grand opening! Brooke said that they had got all of that set up and organized in like 4 days which is amazing! Props to these ladies for coming out and making this location so beautiful! There's so many different types of products here from footwear, wallets, sunglasses, watches, hats, belts, and plenty of clothes to choose from you just have to get in there and take a look around! I love that this location is bigger, they've got the women's clothing on the left and the men's clothing on the right. They also offer a Buckle credit card and then you get 10% off your purchase so that's definitely something to consider! I have a feeling I'm going to be coming out here more often!

Bought a pair of size 11 shoes, the salesman went to the back, boxed them up and sent me on my way…read more I was only in town for the weekend so when i got back to chicago and opened the box, it was one size 11 shoe, and one size 9 - both in a size 11 box. Even at a quick glance it was clear these were two different size shoes. Returned it to another location which didn't have the exact shoe so they called this store who said they couldn't find the other size 11. Meaning - the sales person knew they not had one size 11 but wanted to make the sale. Horrible customer service.

When the visit is on a Saturday we absolutely must make time to jump into Duckworks. The owner Lisa is so nice and makes many of the items herself. Such cute inventory.
