The feel of the store was poor, it wasn't too modern and the selection of most items, in general, was poor, such as the drinks which were the main purpose of my visit, the store also had slightly smaller aisles and those aisles were cluttered with warehouse cages, boxes and everything which seemed to be carelessly dumped by staff and just left there getting in the way for customers, leaving the whole store to be messy, unpleasant and just seem carelessly unclean. I'm not sure if I visited on a delivery day, but visiting during the middle of the day with it is a busy, central London location you'd expect them to keep the store neat and tidy without things like this getting in the way to worsen the overall shopping experience, and especially with no staff members in sight it just seemed like an abandoned, careless mess. Normally on a case like this, I'd often give the store an extra star for the location but in my opinion, this store doesn't even justify anything over a one-star as it doesn't offer much to the location with similar stores nearby which remain at least slightly nicer and easier to shop at, this store is poor and deserves a one-star rating.

She walked me over to get two types of medication, one for my runny nose and another for my headache. She told me not to worry, I would feel better in a few hours. They even recommended what type of beverage I should drink. They preferred I drink water, I wanted something with a little bit more flavor (Vit-Hit Detox). Everything costed me under £5! I love coming to Boot's everytime I'm in the UK.

The pharmacy has had a refit and it's a pretty good design now. They seem to be able to process prescriptions faster than average due to the new computer system and layout of the medications. The store itself doesn't have a huge range, it does however stock the basics and a few seasonal type products. There is no advantage machine in store and there are only a couple of tills. However as the store is hardly ever busy this isn't much of a problem. The staff members are all friendly and polite.

It's reasonably sized, so has a fair choice of cosmetics, toiletries and over-the-counter medicines. It's also cheaper than Boots, although the surroundings also feel a bit more basic. The staff I encountered were helpful in an unhelpful sort of way. I wanted an expectorant, but was told they didn't have any - yet many of the 'chesty cough' mixtures do contain expectorant. They seemed keen for me to buy one particular product, but in the end I chose something different, and the salesperson became equally keen on that. A bit more discernment would have earned an extra star.

They give you the personal attention one would expect from a local village shop. If you live in the neighbourhood you should fill your prescriptions here instead of Boots. They will work on filling your prescription once you give them the slip with hardly any wait time. They carry a streamlined selection of chemist essentials. The store is bright, clean and everything is clearly priced. They follow their suppliers suggested retails which are generally less expensive compared to Boots - I was shocked when I did price comparisons on select products as I assumed Boots would be less since they buy more inventory from vendors being a huge chain. On one visit I stopped by to purchase clove oil and when I brought the bottle to the counter to pay, the pharmacist pointed out another brand of clove oil that was exactly the same but less expensive. They care about their customers and for that reason I choose Nashi over Boots for all my pharmacy / chemist shop needs. Also note that they have a great partnership with Newton Medical Centre nearby and will happily fill out a script refill and drop it off to the clinic for you.
