Also they generally only take 5 to 10 mins to prepare them, so you can just grab a seat (but remember, there is only one!). Also parking is fairly easy and you get grab a space for free within short walking distance - which is also handy.

They're a well known business and have a very good reputation for postal services of obscure remedies that are difficult to obtain. A very good establishment.

Much quieter than their town centre branch, and with more space, they have a large make-up and perfume section (no stands from the big guns such as Clinique but they have a selection of Ruby & Millie and Urban Decay). The back of the store has a large pharmacy who are very helpful, and they have a photo processing section as well. The children/baby section is pretty big - not surprising as there are Mamas & Papas and Mothercare big stores next door.

For example, there is no Estee Lauder, Clinique or Lancome... the only make-up they offer are the high street brands. The store itself though is pretty good if you're not after these brands, otherwise head to the one in Broadmead. This branch is located literally a stones throw away from the big Tesco, so it's handy to pop round to if you cant get what you need there. Eastgate also has quite a lot to offer in terms of big retail stores, and parking is free which is always a bonus. There's a couple of restaurants there too if you want to grab some grub!

I am yet to have a good experience when picking up a prescription. The staff are incredibly rude and so unhelpful and even though there can be 4/5 people working in the pharmacy it can take them 30 minutes to produce a prescription. I understand that it can take a little while but at my old pharmacy in Winterbourne I was never made to wait longer than 5 minutes. Infact I don't think I would mind as much if the staff weren't so rude when they spoke to you. I'm that fed up with them I am now changing to Sainsbury's in the hope that the service is better. The staff elsewhere in the store are so helpful it's just a shame that the pharmacy staff let them down. I will still shop in boots but just not for my prescriptions.

In addition to the usual Paracetamol and Pepto-Bismol, they have vitamins, homeopathic remedies, cosmetics, hair and home care products. There is a private consulting room and the chemist can offer pregnancy testing, stop smoking advice and blood pressure and glucose monitoring. Bhogals runs an extensive repeat prescription service with many of the local G.P's surgeries. They also have a small passport photography service and a "print your own" Kodak machine for your digital camera. Perfumes and fragrances are sold at very reasonable prices. Opening hours are 9 - 7pm Mon to Sat.
