Although Boot's has a wide range of products, the prices are far from competitive. For basic medical and healthcare items, the nearby Wilkinson's store offers similar goods at much lower prices. Also, as previous reviewers have mentioned, the store is far from expansive. As a direct result, shelves are tightly packed and congestion is a common occurrence, especially with wheelchairs and buggies. Cosmetics are perhaps the upside of Boot's, as they have one of the largest selections in town. Again, however, this is compromised by the lack of space and generally cramped layout. Used to be twice the size but half the store was sold off to make New Look! Good range of basic supplies but better range of cosmetics

This is a fairly good store and tends to have a little bit of everything. Most of the shelves are currently taken up with the Christmas gift sets. This is quite good though, as most of the items advertised in their Christmas gift guide can be found in store. The staff are friendly, the pharmacy assistants are particularly helpful and professional. The make-up department is also well-stocked and there's a plentiful No 7 counter. read more

boots in my mind is a bit expensive, it is also the only shop where i still feel imbarrased buying condoms. i think that may be because it was the first place i bought condoms from. everywhere else, i feel cool buying them. its like 'yeah im active' but in boots, theres something that makes me put my head down. i dont know , maybe its the people in their clinical white coats that eminate superiority. So if you go to the other counters you might feel more normal. good supplies for bathroom type actions. and good selection of gifts and posh skin creams. read more
