Boots loyalty card - the advantage card - is probably the best loyalty card going. It gives you 4 points per pound spent and there are always specials deals on that give you extra points. It means you rack up a decent amount of money to spend at Boots fairly quickly. They always have a few 3 for 2 deals on too, which will often be on things you actually need to buy. Another excellent service that Boots provides is free chlamydia tests for anyone under 26. You simply ask for a test at the pharmacy counter, and bring it back to any branch and they send you the results.

Unfortunately the shop is a little scruffy and in need of refurbishment. It's a huge contrast to the glamourous new Superdrug in the nearby Westfield centre! A comprehensive pharmacy that dabbles in a few things usually outside the realms of pharmacies like…read morephotography. They do passport photos, a nice line in photo frames and albums. They also sell accessories like hats and scarfs. A pretty good selection of hair dyes and other hair products line the east wall. I like being in pharmacies and this one is no exception. This branch of Superdrug is slightly more modern than some other branches, which one would expect for being in a mall that as I recall is only around 10 years old, and still a modern, new mall in its own right. I mainly called in Superdrug today to pick up a few drinks, however, the drink selection was poor, very poor, tucked into the back of the store, it didn't even include any Starbucks bottled beverages or even a great selection of Lipton Iced Teas. They were also in an awkward position towards the end of the store in the corner. The staff didn't seem as helpful or friendly as one would expect, they seemed more about serving customers without a personal touch or even showing good customer service, it was like they saw customers as a number and overall appeared rushed, even when the store wasn't too busy. Poor service and selection sadly warrants a single one-star for what is sadly a poor branch of Superdrug.
