They've got everything you'd expect for sale and the usual promotions on various things. They've got an advantage card kiosk to check your points and collect extra points coupons and a few make-up counters. The main thing they're lacking is a toilet or baby change area. I go in there every week day to post items and a few times a week I buy toiletries from there. I will not list the names of the ladies who run the Pharmacy and shop counter, for fear of missing somebody out, but they are all so lovely. I will mention Bernard, as he is the only male in this female dominated bastion; and he is a lovely person too. They are so kind to the many elderly people who frequent the shop and nothing is too much trouble. They will collect prescriptions and deliver them. The majority of the large range of non prescription medicines and toiletries that they sell, are far cheaper than the large supermarkets; yet another good reason to visit this store. As for the Post Office, the 4 lovely ladies are Kim, Jenny, Jane and Mary; and once more, the service they offer is second to none. As with the shop counter staff, they have unlimited patience with the elderly, particularly those who struggle to remember their pin numbers.

Drugstores are like the pulse of the community. No. 7 stuff is SO EXPENSIVE in England. I bought a cleanser that was soap free and excellent but cost 8 POUNDS. I just went to Target yesterday and it cost $8. They keep giving out these 5 pound vouchers for No. 7 stuff. And I saw that they have a hand cream that is 5.50 pounds. Not too bad. Word of caution: if you suffer from seasonal allergies that causes itchy dry eyes and you plan on wearing contact lenses, bring US eyedrops because the Zaditor stuff I use is not over the counter in the UK. It's not even readily available by Rx.

The pharmacy is attached to the surgery and is actually quite small in terms of floor space. They do sell a good array of non-medicine items, including baby milks and baby items, make-up, and toiletries. My only gripe with this pharmacy is that they close for lunch from 1pm till 2pm, and they don't open saturdays, but if you manage to remember this you won't go far wrong!

It is mainly known names..may be end of line. I bought a Wonderbra for £3.99! Upstairs is THe bit for me. They have carpets, flooring, bedding furniture, curtains etc but thecraft supplies are top notch and cheap!!! Big range of cheap and gorgeous fabrics..clothing or household, patterns, wool. Whatever your hobby or craft you will find something here. I saw an overlocker (normally about £350 for £60! They do have ladies and men footwear but I don't use the shop for that, it's the childrens footwear that I go here for. They have a massive range of footweat for children - slippers, sandals, shoes, trainers, boots, wellingtons, etc and a lot of accessories. The footwear is very well made and comes in a massive range of sizes and is very fashionable - the 'lights' range is a particular favourite of my daughter and many other children. The shop always has several staff on who specialise in childrens fittings and they will professionally measure your childs feet and recommend accordingly. The service is second to none. The prices are not cheap but how much value do you put on protecting your childs feet? I go throughout the year and buy footwear for my daughter but I particular like it when they have a sale on because the reductions are fantastic which means I can buy even more!
