Don't be turned off by what looks like a tiny coffee shop- there's a second level with more seating if the outdoor seats and first level are full. Just place your order at the counter and take a table number. We got an oat milk cappuccino (1 shot of espresso and steamed milk), an oat milk flat white (2 shots espresso and steamed milk), a hot chocolate, and a shot of espresso. The espresso-based drinks were just what I was after. They were rich, bold, and creamy. The hot chocolate was more like warm than hot, but packed on the flavor. Overall, this is a spot I'd frequent for if I was in Strasbourg more often. For now, it'll be a fond memory of a perfect cup of coffee in a sea of underwhelming hotel coffee.

The sight of people having what looked like excellent tart flambé through the windows was what made us stop. The sign said full, but we saw people waiting and so did we. The turnover was quite fast and we were able to get seated without excessive waiting, although this was after we figured that the door was not locked and that we could simply peek in and get the host's attention. There was one person attending to all the tables and she spoke English, so that was nice. We loved our experience and will go back again next time!
