We were mainly headed to this region of Sicily to find some good windsurfing, and we ended up renting an apartment from a local who runs the windsurfing rental outfit near this town. He recommended that we not bother getting in the car to find food, but that we should simply walk to the restaurant on the town square.
Not knowing what to expect we tried to communicate in English and found no one able to speak it. So we put our trust in the staff and ordered a bunch of food by pointing at other plates on different tables, in our broken Italian and all of it was spectacular. There were a few other patrons about who spoke a little English. The food was the best we had in Sicily. If you happen to find yourself in this tiny little town treat yourself to this wonderful restaurant. read more
