(It's not the first time). That's not the vibe of this place. I imagine kind and happy people working here. The place is super light, cozy, rustic, eclectic in decor. It's an old house/villa, so the eating areas are actual rooms. There's also a back garden where they have concerts in the summertime. Skrädderiet is located relatively central in town. A side street next to the big white church. Hard to miss. Plenty of parking across the street.

Like unexpectedly bumping into a B list celebrity you like (but like for real unexpectedly, like a…read moreplace you seriously wouldn't expect). Went here for lunch with my Swedish co-workers. Our facility is out in the country a bit, and this place is on the outskirts of town. You simply wouldn't guess it was there, nor would you likely guess what's inside. That said, a great experience. As with many places, the place includes salad with lunch. Their salad proved more like a coleslaw with an apple vinaigrette. Perhaps the best part of the meal, the bread. White fish of some sort with shaved vegetables and fried potatoes occupied the center of the plate, and as you can see in the pic, the cooks don't phone it in, even at lunch. While good, the fish didn't taste quite match the presentation. They have a market that sells granola and other kinds of homemade / handmade goods. Strong reco. I like good food, and this place just pleasantly surprised me, making my day in a small way, just like running into Chip Gaines might. :)
