Hopefully you are seeing this and other reviews like it before making your purchase. If so I have several reasons why this is not the dealership you should do business with. We purchased a 2017 Model X from them after finding it as a great price on Car Gurus. 1. The price they quote is $3000 to $6000 less than the actual price as they will add a Dealer fee. 2. You likely saw several images of a 3 year -100k mile warranty attached to the vehicle images giving you the assumption that it's a pretty safe bet. It does not apply to vehicles over 100k miles. Even 106k miles. 3. Specifically for prospective Tesla buyers, they have no clue about the vehicle they're selling. We drove over 4 hours to pick up the car and when we showed up it wasn't charged. They say it is because they only have a 110 outlet and it charges too slow (the salesman said it takes 2 weeks to charge to 100% - from 50-100% takes 36 hours at most on a 110). Conveniently not charging it also lets them mask any battery degradation. Our car that should have a range of 295 miles (100D) as was listed on Car Gurus only gets up to 261 at 100%. And it won't even get that. We are not zippy drivers reveling in all that instant acceleration, we bought it because it seats 6. So I begin driving back to make it back to Tulsa in time for an evening shift and my wife and our newborn start back an alternate route in the brand new car to see her mom. By the time she reaches the Denton Supercharger the car has massively overheated in January with warning messages about the A/C. I call right away letting them know it's 88 degrees inside. No attempt to fix it or have us bring it back. My wife and baby suffer though the trip back and I have an appointment set with the Tesla service center here in Tulsa. The compressor is shredded and there's metal all through the system, total replacement - $4000. I send them the invoice and a picture of the metal covered cleaning swab from the A/C line. No way it could have been missed. I'm told the GM will call me on January 13th. I call or text regularly for the next month. I finally received the response today that they will do nothing to make it right. Not the $4000 invoice, not a return on the $2890 dealership surcharge, not $1000 token of good faith. Not a penny. 5. Their salesman will be very friendly and work to give you that good feeling. You aren't friends. They aren't there to be your friend, they are there to get you to finance whatever vehicle the dealership found at auction and cleaned up to look nice. This isn't one of those we'll take care of you and make sure everything is right. So if you choose to buy a vehicle from them you need to know you are assuming all risk and they have no qualms about it. I wouldn't buy from them again. I wish I hadn't in the first place. Don't let necessity and circumstance drive you to make such a risky decision.

This is what I bought...Much more ergonomically friendly than the Corvettes I had test-driven earlier.

Stay far far away from Lorentz Automotive/Lewisville Muffler…read more I called asked for an appointment to replace the Catalytic Converter on my Jeep Cherokee Sport 2001, 2 WD. Ballpark they quoted me $400-$600. Dropped my car off when I picked it up the bill was $996, and what they did instead of replacing the Catalytic Converter like I requested. they cut it in half and only changed half of the Catalytic Converter, then said "oh you need to get the back part installed soon it's going out.". They cut the Catalytic Converter in half only changed half if the Catalytic Converter now they are asking for $700 just for the missing half. I called Huffines Jeep and told them never to recommend Lorentz Automotive/Lewisville Muffler to anyone again. They are shocked that the Catalytic Converter got cut in half. Now I am looking for someone to install 1/2 , Huffines said they only install complete Catalytic Converter

I went there hoping to get a quote on replacing a catalytic converter on my 07 malibu. I had an idea it was going to be around 600. They told me it was actually both of my converters, which devastated me. I knew I couldn't afford it. Then, they actually took the time to research and look for ways to save money. The guy that helped me out actually found a special coverage warranty for my model and my converters were actually covered. I set up the appt with Huffines Chevy, and they did the work and replaced it free of charge. I had tears in my eyes. They truly made my christmas special, and I can't thank them enough. I asked if he was able to perform the service today, and he was already booked. But he sent me a message later in the afternoon letting me know that if I was available, I could bring the vehicle by and get it done today. Extremely knowledgeable about the products I purchased as well as explaining exactly how everything works leaving me with no questions about how the antitheft system operates. Highly recommend anybody in the market for an antitheft system to give Jon with Circuit Breaker SNP a call. He was able to complete the install and product education in just about one hour.

Dodge is my speciality, but any type of vehicle I can service. I started doing IGLAs about a year ago. I am an authorized IGLA dealer and highly promote/recommend IgLA for anyone wanting to make sure their vehicle is locked down from theft. It’s by far the one of the best if not the best anti theft devices out there right now. It’s many things in one to protect your vehicle. It’s a kill switch, blocks repeater attacks (a repeater attack is when they relay ur key to the car over a distance), and it blocks the ability to program keys when not in service mode. and no it does not disable remote start like Ravelco does. Doesn’t hurt warranty either. I also install Drone Mobile in any vehicle as well. This will be a glass break sensor, a shock sensor, tilt sensor, and gps all in one. Helps you keep a peace of mind while keeping an eye on your ride. I also do PCM unlocks. I am also a mobile service meaning I can come to you!

My husband took our 2005 Subaru Outback here after we purchased it used to get it checked out and…read moreget a list of what all needed to be done on it. The car wasn't super well-loved, if you know what I mean, so we knew it would need some work. He was at AWD for several hours (he made an appointment) during which time they were not even looking at the car. When they finally did pull it in to take a look, they came back with an eye-watering estimate that included a full transmission rebuild! We were shocked to hear this, as the transmission was one of the items we were not concerned about. The car has a manual transmission with a short-throw sport shifter, and we had no issues with it at all. They did list off a few other things, including some oil leaks we were pretty sure were there, but the transmission quote really threw us for a loop. We took the car to another shop, Hackler Transmissions, to get a second opinion. We've taken a prior car with a manual transmission to them, and trust them. Hackler popped in the car, took it for quick spin, took a quick look under the hood, and told us it didn't need a thing done to the transmission. Everything worked fine, no issues. Also, no charge from Hackler for taking a look. We took the car to another shop to start having the engine work done and it did need a reseal, which AWD mentioned, so they were right about that, which is why they get 2 stars instead of one. Bottom line, though, is they were shady and dishonest about the transmission, and wanted to charge close to $3,000 for a rebuild it didn't need. Needless to say, we will never come back and will not recommend AWD to anyone else. Oh, and the shop we now go to has a Subaru enthusiast as one of the advisors, and he mentioned he did not trust AWD with his Subaru, either. There are too many dishonest auto shops in the world, it's a shame that AWD is choosing to be one of them.
