    Chicken TANDOORI CHICKEN ENTREE
    Shaun L.

I haven't been this place in a while since I don't go into the office very much. This spot was very popular pre-pandemic. Folks really liked their salad bar. My favorite which I register was the chicken tandoori plate. The plate comes with four sides, I got the bean salad, avocado salad, taboulleh, and Shepard salad. It's great to have different options where most places you get to choose one side or two max. It was different not having a rice option, but the taboulleh was sufficient for folks who need a carb. The best part is something you have to look out for is their basil pesto aioli. It is delicious! Dip your chicken in it and you won't regret it! For lunch it's a little higher on the price side $16 vs 12/13 of something similar but you get that variety of sides which makes up for it. I prefer more options, it makes every bite a little different.

The food is amazing here. Same with the service. Every time I come, they give me free kababs to try. Today they even gave us free baklava. The baklava was melt-in-my-mouth decadent. For my plate, I got a classic mixed plate. It was really good! I highly recommend trying Boston Kebab. Everyone is really friendly and considerate.

Takeout from the Kebab House, I selected the lamb shish plate and three sides. A serious portion of lamb chunks here that were meaty and not greasy at all. Flavorful. The rice was also tasty. As sides, the grape leaves were excellent, the falafel a little dry and the tabbouleh was tasty. Definitely a full meal here. I can see a need to get lunch from these folks again soon.

One of the best kebabs in town. Went there in my lunch break and became a fan!! Serving size is great...platters come with a lot of sides. Kofte platter is the best. Staff is friendly and efficient. There is a dine in place in the basement. Totally recommend!!

This is the kind of place that works beautifully for group outings, thanks to the big, long tables that make it easy to settle in, share plates, and actually enjoy the social side of dining. The sampler platters and mixed grill dishes are absolutely the way to go. Portions are generous, the variety is excellent, and everything we tried tasted fresh and well balanced. The hummus and baba ganoush were both standouts, packed with flavor and a great start to the meal. One of the biggest highlights was the manti. These delicate, bite sized dumplings with yogurt sauce were pure comfort food and easily one of the most memorable dishes of the night. The haydari (similar to Tzatziki) was another favorite. Rich, creamy, and incredibly flavorful, it's the kind of dip you keep reaching for long after you're full. For something a little different, the traditional Turkish coffee made with hot sand is such a fun experience and well worth ordering. Ending the meal with coffee and rice pudding felt like the perfect, cozy finish. On a practical note, I was genuinely happy there is some parking here, which is always a welcome bonus in Cambridge. Overall, Lavash Grille is a place I'd gladly return to. Great food, perfect for group settings, and an all around enjoyable dining experience.

They have a small parking lot off the side of the restaurant which is free. Inside, there is plenty of space. The service and staff are very nice. We got a lentil soup to share, manti and beef liver as appetizers. Everything tasted amazing. The manti could be a little softer. We also got coffee and tea. The tea was refilled throughout the time we were there which was a nice touch. For my main I got the chicken Adana and my friend got the lamb version. Both were grilled to perfection. Such simple ingredients but the meal was well balanced. The meat came with rice and some grilled/ pickled veggies. The only thing to note is that the bathroom is shared with the building and was out of toilet paper and was in bad condition.

The menus are up on the wall. We had also looked up online beforehand so we knew what we wanted. I got the chicken kebab wrap sandwich and asked for tzatziki instead of the sauce it came with. Hubs ordered the doner sandwich also with tzatziki. The portions were quite decent, taste wise okay, meat was tender and flavorful. I had high hopes. I would be curious to try some of the other dishes. The order did take a while about 15 minutes or so- we waited seated at one of the tables. There weren't too many people there just one other table occupied but it was also like 4:30pm so not peak dinner time and on a Sunday evening too. Will be back if in the area.

They also have a sizeable menu and a whole dessert case by the register. There is outdoor seating and a decent amount of indoor seating. It is spacious inside, but the night that we went was empty (Thursday night). Where this restaurant loses points is the service. Unfortunately, our server was very difficult to work with on getting our orders correct. Multiple times she got our order wrong or forgot what we got and had to come back to the table to get the order again. Additionally, when the food was coming out, she was giving it to the wrong people at the table (party of 7 in an empty restaurant) and 2 of the plates came out very late compared to the others (about a 15 minute difference). This made 2 people feel left out eating with the rest of the table. When the 2 remaining plates finally came out, one of them was the wrong one!! At that point, we already shared our food with the other 2 people and they weren't even hungry anymore and were frustrated. Overall, service was very slow and confusing. Our server was nice, but she either needed more training or attention to detail. Considering we were the only customers at that time, this was a very surprising experience.
