I didn't have too high standards, as it was meant to be a quick meal before heading back to Winnipeg. I arrived in time for the $10 lunch specials, which honestly is a great deal for a sit-down chain restaurant. The portions are definitely reasonable, and you get a salad or soup added to it. I went with The Big Dipper sandwich, with a side soup added to it. The side soup was italian wedding, and was largely forgettable. The pasta was way overcooked, and the soup felt very thick. The sandwich was decent for $10, the steak strips were quite tender and not hard to chew at all, which in alone was a good sign. Service was excellent and we were attended to the whole way. Considering my low expectations for a place like this, it did its job in filling my stomach up for the ride back to Winnipeg. read more

The jambalaya fettucini tends to be my go-to order at Boston Pizza. Had it several times before. Loved it. This time, I was not impressed. The protein component was way too skimpy. Three thin slices of sausage. Five or six pretty small, I mean tiny, shrimp. Barely any chicken at all. Nothing else but pasta, sauce and bread. Maybe two ounces of protein max. Should be minimum 4 or 5 oz of protein for a main course. Don't know if it was a one time issue, or a more permanent change to the menu. Not likely to spend that kind of money again, hoping that it was a one time thing. Also, the infant a couple of tables down, crying through out our meal was pretty off-putting. the food tends to be ok, but not for the prices you pay. stay away from the pasta its almost always overcooked and mushy. their cream sauces also tend to be pretty bland. the service is good. all the servers tend be pretty good. some good use more training in how to serve customers and how to act at a table etc but for the most part they are acceptable. the lounge is good. the service is good and the drinks are good. nothing wrong with the lounge. the restaurant is very family friendly. read more

Ordered home style lasagne and calamari for delivery lasagna looked like 2 noodles thrown in a container and a little sauce. Tasted horrible as it looked. Never going to order from there again. Very expensive felt like I was robbed. read more

The service was terrible. The restaurant wasn't even busy and it took over 30 minutes to get food for 4 people. A simple pizza, 2 pasta dishes, and a burger. Food was not brought out at the same time. It took over 10 minutes to get one slice of toast with cheese, and it came with no cheese. The servers didn't come by to offer refills or check on food quality. One pasta portion was so small it looked like they ran out of pasta. At the end they didn't even pack up the full amount of leftovers. Food that was paid for was missing. I would not recommend this Boston Pizza location at all. You'll find better service at McDonald's. read more
