Worst service I have ever experienced from a Boston Pizza. Went for supper to celebrate my daughters birthday and it took forever to place order. When our order did arrive, they forgot one of the meals. Waiter said it we be out shortly. Nobody came back. Not to refill drinks, check on meals, NOTHING. When I got up and went to kitchen to ask where the missing meal was... they had no idea. They eventually handed it to me, it was shrivelled up/limp spinach on top and everything else in the dill chicken bowl was mush. I said that I wouldn't pay for that and explained everyone else in my 5 person group had already finished eating. So disappointing for birthday dinner night out. I spent $120.00 to get a salad with 2 orders of wings and an order of lasagna with meat balls and extra sauce. The wings were okay, but when you get charged over $30.00 for lasagna and it comes dried out with no cheese hardly what a waste of money. Boston pizza do better what a rip off. read more

Would not recommend, went for lunch and had terrible service, in addition to waiting an hour for food to come out and when it did some of our order was wrong. There were only four other tables in the restaurant, and our plates were never cleared and we were not checked on once! We then after waiting an additional half hour for the bill, had to go to the front to pay and when advising the manager of our experience he had nothing but excuses and stated they were "slammed" when there was only four other tables. It has really good food but I ate there recently (Takeout) the food was sort of raw, it looked pink. They are constantly missing food items whether it is the side, the cookie (with the kids meal), Juice box (with the kids meal), or even the sauce! The workers always seem to give me the stink eye. The workers are still really nice and give you a lot of info. I like it when I Dine In because the tables are nice and clean, the lighting is good, and food is ready very quickly. read more

My family decided to go to Boston Pizza - Red Deer North location for lunch. Upon taking a seat in lounge we were approached by a waiter who said we couldn't order a drink as we ran out on our last bill. IMAGINE OUR SURPRISE. We requested to speak to a manager who stated she recognized my husband and my daughter from a visit on October 14th who ran out on their bill. Newsflash. My husband wasn't in Red Deer on October 14th. We asked to see this bill which to no surprise was compromised of items we would not order. I'm horrified. This is completely unacceptable and uncalled for. Boston Pizza will never see ours, nor any of our friends at any of their locations again. read more

The service was very nice and everyone was very nice but the food itself was not immaculate. The bugs and cheese was not served with a side even though it was advertised as such, we weren't given ketchup for our fries and the ramen noodles were left out of the chicken Thai bites. The pop was not carbonated, like it was genuinely flat. The chocolate milk was warm and tasted as though it had been left out for a while. I truly feel that the staff deserve better because they were all amazing and welcoming and went out of their ways to make our experience pleasurable but it was purely the sustenance. Would not recommend the food but the people are very nice. As a dedicated customer to Boston pizza locations, I was very disappointed to not have experienced a meal that met the expectations met by other locations such as Innisfail Boston Pizza. read more

Went here for lunch with my brother and husband. Had terrible service. The waitress had sat us next to a table with lots of children and had refused to accept my Id. Was having a great dinner with friends, a few light beers and good conversation. Our server (Sydney E) was fab, on the ball, minimal conversation and bussing whenever necessary. We heard a server - Glenn - mentioning "National High Five Day" (August 12th). We had never heard of such a day and decided to check the facts. Apparently this day happens in April. Glenn was called out on his complete disregard for facts and our server left (2 hours into service) he decided that his ego outweighed the branding of Boston Pizza and would not serve us. The servers were nice but that's about where it ends. This place was filthy. The table tops were wiped down but there was food and crumbs on the floor underneath every table. For some reason part of the dining room was filled with patio umbrellas. One of the servers even tripped over one when trying to serve a table. There were little piles of dirt on the floor like they had been swept up but nobody had a dust pan. My glass of water tasted like Coke. Very sub-par service and food. The steak and veggies was by far the worst food I have ever had at BPs. Would not recommend to anyone. Consistency! Whenever we go for wings, these guys always deliver. And the Cesar salad is never soggy or over-dressed. I like to try different places for our weekly wing night, but I think BP''s, on the SOUTH end, turns out the best product. This was a rip off. Our team had dinner here. One girl found hair in their food and a girl was forgotten to be served. When the meal finally came the ribs were just bones no meat and they forgot to serve the garlic bread that was included. $20.00 for that! I am appalled!! The food was just OK and the service was pretty poor. There were only about 12 people in the bar with 2 servers and it took forever to get our bill. In addition for some reason the beer coming out of the tap was very foamy so they were scooping the foam out with a wooden spoon or something as they were filling the glass. Well this review should have two ratings. One for the location in Olds which would get get 5 ***** stars and Red Deer,s South side store which would get 1 *. This is based on the same dish but from the two different Boston Pizza's. When travelling through Olds about mid afternoon one day I stopped at Boston Pizza for a quick bite, ordering their nooner sized Pizza with a garden salad side. Bottom line, ...it was outstanding. The salad was so fresh and the pizza was hot and bubbly just delicious. Couldn't say enough good. Not quite the same story in Red Deer. Looking forward to having the same meal as I'd experienced in Olds but it wasn't to be. The salad was wilted and browned and the pizza looked as it had been sitting under a heat lamp for hours. More like pizza jerky. One bite was enough, so I sent it back. The waitress offered to replace the dish but my appetite for pizza had disappeared. My wife shared her quesadilla with me which was just fine. The manager came over and comped us the meal but it'll be sometime before I visit Boston Pizza in Red Deer. By the way the waitress was excellent and got the full tip. read more

We like to order from BP's every now and again on the weekends. There was a hiccup on our order and we weren't sent our hot wings. It turned out when I called we weren't charged for them but I was super bummed. The Manager Alex, was great even though I wasn't charged for them he sent over a free order of hot wings! I would choose a zero star rating but that isn't an option. Horrendous, appalling, these are just a few of the nice words I'd use to describe my night at Bps south. Why do we put up with sub par service in Red Deer? I have been to countless restaurants that have such horrific food and service. This being the latest event. The manager was so impersonable and dramatic. He made light of our awful experience and proceeded to make sarcastic comments about his staff and how none of this was his fault. That he had "come into a gong show". My mother's food was sitting in the warmer in the kitchen completely forgotten and cold. Only after she went and questioned the supervisor did her ice cold pizza come out. The supervisor said he would take it off our bill. He then said "how is everything now? Warm?" My mom said "no my pizza is cold" the supervisor said "yeah well its free now so." We were coming to the close of our dinner and had asked for dessert for my two year old. "Worms and dirt". "Oh sorry it's frozen. We forgot to thaw it." I can't tell you how many excuses I heard from our waitress that. Such a ridiculously horrid experience. I'll never go back. Brutal. read more
