This places doesn't do readings/consultations and they don't prepare candles. They have tons of Amazon candles on hand and overpriced bracelets their statues start at $$777. The lady in charge will try to revert you to call a woman over the phone for a consultation but you better have Zelle-LOL. Otherwise she tells you to drive a few blocks over on Alleghany Street to Albert's place for a reading and trust me a real Botanica holds their value to take care of customers, not push them like I was. I know I'm not the first person to write the truth. The reviews are truly sad I am a real customer I had a real experience sadly I have visited many Botanicas in San Diego so I could find true Spiritual Guidance from someone with empathy and experience. Not just a shop wanting to score reviews and stack money. So here is the big SECRET this shop is selling false hope. The owner was rude to me on another platform. Who does that? Thats what you have to look forward to if you review the truth. This Botanica sells the same Amazon candles and statues, the statues are not prepared. People read and learn, don't just pay because you are desperate. Prayer usually works but when you need a little magic this shop did not meet my expectations; these days times are different and difficult I work hard for my money. I am wise who I give my full name and date of birth to and where I buy trust worthy products. If you write a review on your experience an owner should not be rude and respectful to respond it's fake because it's not. I'm not alone look at the tons of reviews under this Botanica saying they do follow you, they don't do consultations. I came here because they are in the famous National City close by San Diego and Closer to the border. But at this point some folks are driving from out of city just to come here . So be wise yelpers tell the truth when you review and post. There are more trustworthy Botanicas in National City off Wilson Avenue. You just have to do some research, and hope that your expectations are a match to their service , experience and understanding so you can be a valued customer and change your journey. I am a new customer here . Don Luis asked to see me that Wednesday and I barely missed him. Then…read morethis past Saturday I went back to check in and he didn't remember me at all or the money I paid for his services to help me and my current love situation. If I had known he was forgetful and can't remember I would have chose a different botánica. I gave him the pictures of me and my love interest and he said 21 days should show improvement between me and my partner. I explained to him that things are getting worse between me and my boyfriend and he told me to return back in a couple weeks but I don't understand how if he can't even remember my case or situation I paid for. I always went to O'Connors In City Heights for my Catholic merchandise. For sure, this Casita has items like rosaries & St. Joseph statues to sell a house, which was the reason I walked in. There's even a little kneeler inside facing a Marian statue with a logbook for intentions...and a Kleenex box nearby. It's as if Holy Cross has been made accessible for those in a pinch ~ with merch to boot! Who could ask for more?
