What a beautiful landscape to walk the grounds and simply admire the beauty with a coffee in hand. The gardens are so well kept and perfect to admire all the different vegetation they keep maintained. The various sculptures and fountains had me in awe. I noticed there was a strong affiliattion for koi fish at each one. After some sleuthing it was apparent that artists in Belgium also saw koi fish as a sign of good luck. We accessed Botanique by strolling the adjacent park close to our hotel and it made for a wonderful morning. There are plenty of benches and of course you can hang out on the steps of the Botanique. Botanique - Music Venues Near Me - Saint-Josse-ten-Noode, BRU

Arrived around 11:30 on a Friday just to walk around the grounds. It's pretty underwhelming, as there was not much to see. It's basically a big garden with a greenhouse and fountain at the end. It's a bit far from the city centre so if you're a tourist just looking for things to do, you can probably skip it. I have a feeling it's more for locals to get away from the noise of the city. read more

Once again I didn't get much of an opportunity to actually go down into the gardens to have a look around, but since I was near but I did spend a few minutes having a look around, at least from afar. I should also mention that this is more about the gardens as opposed to the old green house which is now used for concerts. Well, not quite because we did actually wonder down their for a bit, that is until we needed to go and catch out tram. Like many of the parks about the place, this is a lovely place for a stroll. Also like a lot of botanic gardens, this place is also free, which means that you can come and go as you please. Mind you, the only reason we found it was because we were paying a visit to the local church. read more

I can't imagine a place with chiller vibes! Wonderful music; a fantastic restaurant that played mostly Future tracks; a BEAUTIFUL garden. This place is truly special and I am envious of all Belgians who get to frequent here. I hope to be back one day. read more

Great place to spend an hour people-watching and reading a book during rare moments of Brussels sun. It is a beautiful park with a formal garden and plenty of walking paths. There are packs of teenagers hanging out there (which I'm not a fan of), but also families and older people out walking (which I approve of). read more

Listening to some ndie music you would often feel like a stranger among your friends. They would often think you are even inventing names of bands.. but there is a place in Brussels where you will not feel like that: Botanique. You will discover that all the bands you read about on Pitchfork exist and can play for you!!! There are 3 concert halls: the small intimate Witloof bay, the intimate but bigger Rotonde (my favourite) and the big one the Orangerie. During the summer there is an external concert hall in the beautiful garden, the capiteau, often hosting most of the events during the 'Nuits Botanique' a kind of indie-festival in town. Even if you are not a big music fan it is nice to spend a night at Botanique discovering a new band or going there for a beer especially during the summer. They also have nice art exhibitions. If you go to more than 4 concerts per year I would reccomend to get the Botacarte to enjoy discounts on tickets and one free ticket. read more

I'm not gonna drag this review out. I love everything about Botanique. It's festivals, its exhibition, the environment, the location, the garden, the people working there. My favourite event of the year is definetely the Festival of Mediterranean Cinema. 5€ a ticket, great movies, great post projection debates and a lot of food. My only recommendation is to book earlier, even online, because popular movies get sold out quickly. read more

Botanique is a very nice venue for concerts in all genres. Very efficient and easy website to make reservations. It has different spaces depending of the concert: seated and non-seated areas. The bar is also very nice. It is also a restaurant but never tried it myself. The gardens outside are magnificent especially if it is a sunny day in Brussels. It is certainly a place to go if you live or even simply visit Brussels. read more
