The bartender I had was exceptionally good and did so with generous pours at bargain prices. The food menu doesn't amount to all that much, but Boozer's is primarily a bar, not a restaurant. However, I found their pork ribs to be very good. Overall it has great fun atmosphere with a rustic sort of charm (I think their pool table was homemade) for overall enjoyment. This place had a decent sized crowd when we arrived at our hotel across the street on a Thursday…read morenight. My wife and I assumed it was a fair choice for dinner so we sat down and reviewed their menu, which had an overwhelming amount of food options. I ordered their Fried Tilapia and the Mrs. went for a parmigiana filet of steak. We were both very disappointed with our food. Although generous portions were served, it was all so dreadful. We were pretty starving so we made a respectable dent in our plate (not more than half) until we finally stopped the agony. To add insult to injury, management clearly does not prioritize service since there was only one waiter tending to at least six different tables if not more. We didn't come here with high or any expectations at all but were clearly thrown off. This was a new low for us in Brazil and in Fortaleza... perhaps we just got unlucky with our selection off the menu?
