At $9 each I was taken back by the serving size, it's a full ciabatta roll that melts in your mouth, soft and fluffy on the inside, perfect. The layout is a long space, with the kitchen set in the middle. You order and pay at the counter while they bring your food to you. The seating in the front looks very European with seats at the window looking straight onto the street. There are two long communal tables and small seating arrangements as well. A lot of people were coming and in out of it, which tells me that they must doing something right.

Its not like I need to be encouraged to buy two bottle of vino, so I am happy to get the discount. Vintage Cellars have their own brand of cleanskins as well. Which are mostly around the $10 mark and in my experience are all really good wines. Their beer selection isn't all that bad either.

Good: Tru Bru sells beer by the growler in three different sizes. Simply choose your bottle, choose your brew, and walk home happy. At the moment all taps are rotated daily, but soon there will be a few regular staples to expect. If you're not sure what you like, the friendly staff will pour you a taste of anything and everything they've got. Better: Tru Bru has fun, cheeky branding. Ask about the shirts and the store of the mare, the hare, and the bear. The staff are clearly very passionate both about the brand and the beer. Even though this side street spot is only big enough for maybe 10 people at most, it's bursting with personality and passion. The shop is small but a decent selection of wine, beer and spirits. Being an independent store, they select the lines they carry themselves. If you are after something in particular, they can get it in for you. There's the big label wines that you can get at the big chains, but also plenty of smaller limited release stuff. Some decent clean skins also, again individually selected. The best thing about this place is the staff. Knowledgeable and friendly, for me, a bit of lively banter at the end of a long day while choosing a bottle of wine to take home for dinner on a Tuesday night goes a long way!

The store has Chinese translations for most signage in and outside the store (It is in ChinaTown after all), but most of all provides a great range of beers, ciders, wines and spirits. The beverages in here are quite cheap, they always have a range that are stocked up in the aisle and presented with a great price. You can find a bottle of red or white for around %10, and usually have spirits 2 for $60. The staff are outstanding here, all very friendly and happy to help with any recommendations. Quite frequently there's a chipper young blonde behind the counter who has a laugh or two in her.
