    Fried green beans
    Brad H.

I really enjoyed this place during my trip to Hazelton this past weekend. The atmosphere is kind of rusticky and old school which was really cool. The service was nice and friendly as well. For appetizers my group had fried green beans and mozzarella sticks. They were both cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. The wasabi ranch went great with the fried green beans too. For meals we all got different types of wings, which is kind of what they are known for. You can get their wings breaded or regular. Also, you have to ask them to toss them in the flavor you want, otherwise it comes on the side which is not how I like mine. The flavors we all had were the buffalo ranch and Cajun dry rub. The wings themselves were cooked just how I like them, crispy but not overdone. The Cajun dry rub was ok, but I'm not a big fan of dry rubs usually. My wife thought they were very good though. The buffalo ranch wings had a great flavor and were my favorite food of the night. I wish they had better ranch to go with the wings, but that is my only complaint about this place. Not sure if I will ever be back in this town, but if so I will definitely come back here.

Parking is a problem, slow service and food is just mediocre and pricey for the portions! Beer was warm?? There is better in the area

Visited Damon's and really enjoyed it. The decor was cool and it's definitely a great spot to watch…read moresports. We started with a couple of appetizers, the house made potato chips and the Damon's sampler, which were both tasty. For dinner we ordered steak kabob and quesadilla. The food came out quickly, was hot and tasted good. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly, and server took good care of us throughout the meal. Overall, solid choice if you are looking for good food, a fun vibe and a place to catch a game. Must try wings with Damon's sauce.

I just had surgery so walking is great - stairs not so great. I wonder what they are providing as a means for people needing an accessible entrance as this was not available - or if there was something, nothing indicated otherwise. Once inside we were Seated quickly and a server was very prompt. We placed drink orders and not a wait for them. My husband ordered a beer and commented several times how wide the beer glass was and awkward. Not a criticism of the food/drink but just very awkward. He ordered the salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli which he loved the salmon. It was cooked perfect and had a great glaze on top. I ordered the haddock which also was quite tasty. It had a cracker topping which wasn't too much and provided a tasty top! I also had the mashed potatoes which reminded me of taking the cooked potatoes out of baked potatoes and mashing them. I also had the broccoli which was done great. All in all a good meal for a good price

Wow. The portions are enormous! I started w a side salad…read morewith the house dressing, a must!, served with warm rolls. I ordered the angel hair pasta with two meatballs. When I say that I probably have 5 lb of pasta on my plate, I am not lying or exaggerating. The meatballs takes like a mix of veal or pork and beef - delicious. Meaty but not heavy. The pasta sauce was a little spicy but nothing mouth scorching. Again delicious. My friends got the grilled tilapia and there's probably three very large pieces of tilapia served with a lemon wedge and another side of angel hair pasta, again at least a pound of pasta in the side. They had the French onion soup, a hearty very beefy based soup with a giant slab of cheese on the top. My friends loved it. My other friends had the pork cutlet which was a hammered piece of pork lightly fried, and the size of a dinner plate served with a side of beef gravy, and also a side of angel hair pasta. Portions are ridiculous and I'm from the south I know huge portions. Lol If you come here though don't come in a hurry, as the staff is very busy. I didn't get her name but she was the only one working the floor. Efficient, direct and friendly. If you leave hungry it is your fault. Enjoy!
