A new butchery opened and it made a lot of noise (a little party organised by the Mairie!). Because the concept is original, the lay out uncommon and the butcher is a true artisan!
The butchery looks like an old commerce with a cool open concept. You get to be as close to the meat as possible and the butcher while he works. Lovely!
The butcher, M. Christian Laurent, knows his work and makes it an art. The meat is really excellent and from the best parts of France. He has: boeuf de chalosse, veau fermier, agneau de terroir, porc fermier, volailles des Landes. He is from Lorraine so he does most of his pâtés himself. The specialities are, unsurprisingly, the pâté lorrain and the quiche lorraine. Both to die for! And if you are lucky, he will have some of his homemade fondant au chocolat: never had something quite like it!
