Lots of parking outside in the square and it's right next to the lot from trader joes and tomatina. It's a big spacious restaurant wherein you enter in a line to the counter. You can walk through the aisle of fresh bread loaves that you can add to go. The display has a big menu and i was pleasantly surprised to see so many new items in addition to what i am used to seeing at the original sf outlet. In $36, we got: - sourdough loaf to go $6 - broccoli cheddar soup bowl with side of dinner roll 5/5 yummy creamy soup that the kiddo loved - rustic tomato soup in a bread bowl original rating 1/5 as the bread was super cold and soup quantity was too less. Temperature of soup was cold and texture was lumpy. I am glad i asked our server about it and she offered to bring a side of extra hot soup to make up. That made this back to 3/5 for me. She saved the rating here tbh!! - pepperoni garlic bread 3/5 - 2 pcs with too crisp of a pepperoni and it gets hard pretty quickly so you gotta eat this first or dunk it into some soup Clean restrooms and good service saved the day!

I haven't been to the particular Boudin in quite some time! This plaza is a little congested and sadly, there seems to be a lot of homeless people that hang out where the Sprint or T-Mobile store used to be, which is to the right of sprouts. There's a cute open Table area for people to have their lunch and the homeless have set up shop there. Good thing for me, this restaurant is to the left of that so the homeless might be in the vicinity, but usually not in front. I love the way this is set up and they have a kiosk. You can touchscreen order from or order from an actual live person. Since I'm old-fashioned, I'd rather talk to a person And I ordered from a lovely lady and was able to get a delicious cookie and a coffee since I just wanted an appetizer/snack. Everything was very clean and organized within the restaurant and I can't wait to come back and try that lobster macaroni! The salad looked delicious as well! I also like the fact they actually have smoothies but sadly, I don't know if they're lactose free- since I'm intolerant ... oh well if anything else they'll always have royal cookies and I love those cookies!!

** UPDATE** 12/15/24 My last review was over 10 years ago and it wasn't good. My Dad eats the salads here often so I was hungry and thought I'd give Boudin another try. MISTAKE. Popped in today (Sunday) around 3:15pm. There were a few people sitting in the dining room but not many which I expected since it was well after the lunch rush. What I did notice were all the empty tables that had dirty dishes on them. Strike one. I stood in line to place my order and not a single employee acknowledged me. Strike two. Finally I gave up and used the kiosk instead and moved over to the pick up location. What a chaotic mess. There were two employees in the prep area, a manager who looked like she'd rather be anywhere else than at work and two runners. The manager on duty seemed unorganized and not attentive to her customers at all. There was a woman ahead of me who clearly had been waiting for her to-go order for an usual amount of time. She finally asked the manager about her order and was asked if she had soup and two sandwiches. She answered yes and the manager said "cool" and walked away. One of the runners came over, looked in a bag that was sitting in the counter, added a sandwich that was sitting on the counter and handed the waiting customer the bad. At that point the customer grabbed the bad, mumbled something and quickly left. She was obviously and rightfully irritated. Strike three. My order was 1/2 a sandwich and a cup of soup. I literally waited over 15 minutes for something that should have taken 5 since no orders came out before mine and there was no one after me. My order was finally bagged and handed to me to bank home I went. Here's what I ordered: 1/2 CHICKEN SALAD SANDWICH - total disappointment. The ingredients include chicken, red grapes, green onion, and slivered almonds. There was maybe 1/4 of a cup of chicken salad with not a single red grape or almond in sight. The bread was dry and very small. CLAM CHOWDER - HORRIBLE! Just as bad as it was 10 years ago. Super fishy and unpleasant. I love clam chowder but this continues to be the worst and after 2 bites I tossed it. Why can't this place get it together? Good customer experience starts with a manager who takes pride in their job and genially likes their job. I got the feeling that wasn't the case here and it shows in every aspect of my experience. I will not be returning.

3.5 Stars. This location is in the shopping center with Tomatina Restaurant, BevMo, Sprouts Market, etc. Quiet location. Nice simple decor. Customer service is friendly and polite. Their sandwiches, pizzas, and soups, especially their clam chowder in sourdough bowls, are good.

I have to give this place 4 stars because it really hit the spot! I haven't had boudin in years but was randomly craving it. I convinced my bf to go and we were pleasantly surprised that both the taste and value were decent. I like that you can get a half and half meal to try multiple things and the half sandwich is pretty big. It was $13 something for the meal which felt fair. Of course we knew it wouldn't be anything on par with a nice local deli, but the bread was tasty, and all of the ingredients were fresh. The sandwich is definitely not generous with the meat and other ingredients so it tastes heavy on the bread, but I was ok with that since I love sourdough. All of the ingredients in the Mac were tasty too, although there wasn't much short rib and one of the pieces was completely fat. As long as you are aware that this is mid quality food, on par with Panera, boudin is a solid option. It satisfied my craving. I also liked that we ordered online, it was ready fast, and you just grab your bag and go. No need to speak to anyone for those days when you don't want to be perceived.

The hostess was very friendly and showed us to our table. We had a table inside, which was an intimate upscale casual area with a bar. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms for a starter. It was so hard to pick one because everything on the menu sounds so good. Alas, I have a small appetite. The mushrooms were very tasty and a nice start to our meal. For entrees, we had the halibut and prime filet with a side of broccolini. Everything was cooked perfectly and was delicious. Drinks are on the pricey side- I had a Hero Old Fashioned and the Taylor Made, $20 each. They were nicely crafted, so worth the price. They brought out a Carmel Popcorn Sundae for my husband's birthday and even gave him a birthday card which I thought was a nice touch. Service was slow and steady. We had ample time to enjoy our food without feeling rushed, but never felt like our server forgot about us. We spent about 2 hours for dinner. Probably not a place to go if you're in a hurry. I'm eager to return and try some more of the starters. It's the kind of place I'd love to take out of town guests - high quality fine dining in a casual and relaxed environment.

The restaurant had a nice visual ambience, but also felt casual as there was a lot of chatter, which isn't a bad thing depending on what you're looking for. Our waiter was especially friendly and helped us decide what to order. I really wish I could remember his name, as I'm posting this a bit late, but he was a huge reason why we had a great experience! Here's a quick rating on the food itself: Stuffed mushrooms (3.5/5): This was recommended by the waiter as a favorite among patrons. The mushrooms weren't bad or anything, but for some reason, it gave me combination pizza vibes that I wasn't expecting. It was good, but I wouldn't go out of my way to order it again personally. Bone-in ribeye (5/5): an amazing cut that was cooked perfectly. Exactly what you would expect from a good steakhouse. The compound butter was fantastic! Bone-in apricot glazed pork chop (3.5/5): this one may hit different for different folks. The pork was perfectly cooked and juicy, but the apricot glaze was definitely a little too sweet for our palettes. If you're looking for something more savory, I might try something else. But hey, sweet might be your thing too! Caramel popcorn sundae (4.5/5): we got this one complimentary for being our special day, which was a really nice surprise! And it was a full serving! This one was obviously sweet, but surprisingly more subdued than it sounds, which was really nice! Overall, it was truly a memorable night with great food. And though some things didn't quite work for our palettes, I can totally see that it may for others--so that didn't impact my ratings because they were still good--just not for us. That said, the care that we received on our anniversary was what truly made me land on a 5/5 rating. Definitely coming back for future special occasions!

The restaurant is korean-fusion with poke, so there were many toppings, base rice that are more commonly linked with korean food. It was pretty good! The salmon was fresh and fatty. One of the fresher poke spots I have had in the bay. The toppings were fresh, and visually vibrant! I think my only critique would be the pricing and maybe having more options for sizing. What can I say about The Anchors Team, Carlos and their amazing gracious care for their guests?…read more Nothing but PURE perfection! Tonight was my first time to the Saratoga location. We live in Downtown San Jose and remember when Anchors opened at San Pedro Square. We so love that place. Great Food and perfect service. Carlos was working there and was always so pleasant and made sure we were always well taken care of. Life gets in the way so we spent less time out at San Pedro so the last few times we went we went to get our favorite seafood we did not see Carlos. A few months ago I was caring for a client's pups and we needed dinner. So my husband Wayne went into Saratoga to go to Anchors to pick up some dinner for us. He gave me the best news that Carlos was at the Saratoga location. I was so excited because I had missed seeing "our friend". He always made us feel some comfortable. Wayne wanted to go to Anchors Saratoga to celebrate his birthday tonight! Who am I to say no? When we walked thru the door I was so happy to see Carlos ! He welcomed us with such a warm smile and was attentive to every detail including welcoming Wayne by his name! We had the most delicious calamari appetizer I have ever had followed by Creamy Lemon Garlic Seafood Pasta - TOTAL PERFECTION!!!!!!! *side note! They have one of the best Happy Hours we have experienced. We knew we were more than just "customers". We were welcomed as "returning friends". We recommend this AMAZING restaurant for PERFECT food and MORE THAN PERFECT Customer relations! This is a re-review from M Nunez...

Not good food. Not fresh. The tuna melt was too dry…read more The tacos were not fresh. When the plate arrived itself it did not look appetizing. Also there was zero pineapple flavor when it claimed there was pineapple salsa. Added a star because the food was not terrible, we could finish it.
