Aldi's is particularly good for fresh fruit and veggies, wine, spirits and beer, frozen desserts, and cheese. They also have a wonderful fresh baked good section and I love their pretzel rolls, baguettes, corn rolls, croissants and whole wheat rolls.

They had told me about the chocolate shop there and admittedly I was doubtful that their chocolates could beat another shop I frequently visit. I ate my words when I ate Aztek's chocolates. I have never had dark chocolate that was so smooth and creamy. There are a variety of fillings, many of which are locally sourced like Armagnac and saffron. The cost of a box of 40 bon bons was 1/4 of what I had been paying in a similar shop AND Aztek is closer. In addition to the chocolates, they have pastries, ice cream, crepes, specialty groceries, coffee, tea, and gourmet boxes. The gentleman that helped me was very kind and provided us each with a chocolate of our choosing to taste. I will become a regular here and can't wait to try each one of their delicious chocolates.

This is an unusually large but local (non-chain) bakery. There is a large selection of pastries,…read morebreads, viennoiserie, and sandwiches. It was our first time there and had a difficult time choosing. I really appreciated seeing a pistachio tart, which is not common here. The filling and cream on top were incredible. We can't wait to go back to try some of the tartines for a quick and easy dinner. Ample parking and friend service. We will likely become regulars.
