CAPPUCCINO +SCONE. I have been here twice for breakfast. Nice creamy cappuccino. For a place that calls itself "the bakery", the scones were just OK, and a bit expensive (3.70 euros EACH). Luckily the clotted cream (whipped butter cream), homemade lemon curd and strawberry jam the scone was served with were delicious.
QUICHE+SALAD. Hunking slice of their quiche lorraine was fluffy and creamy, with a buttery pastry crust. The filling included a couple ripe tomatoes and some weird scraps of what should have been bacon. A couple tweaks and this could be really good. The side salad was a nice size and flavor, almost Sicilian with the slices of olives and salty capers, but didn't really pair that well with the quiche.
They offer an array of different High Tea options here. Some, which are really just a couple breakfast pastries and tea aren't technically High Tea, but it is nice to a have a selection of HT sizes and sweet/ savory balances. Prices range from 15-27 eros pp.
