I recently booked Boulevard Chauffeur for an early morning ride to the airport. Ubers tend to be hit or miss, so I wanted the reliability of an established service. I was up and ready on time which is sometimes a challenge. However, 0615 came and went and no driver. Made a few calls with no answer to the service. Finally, I gave up and drove myself...will just have to eat the parking fees. I received a note later in the am with an apology, the driver hadn't followed thru on the reservation. The owner made an offer to comp their next usage. Nice, but that certainly didn't help me out with what I needed them to do. As always, I leave it up to the reader of my feedback to decide whether it's worth the risk to do business with this company. read more

Highly recommend. Our first post-Covid trip started with a flight departing ATX at 6:17 AM. We didn't want to try our luck with Lyft/Uber/cab drivers at 3:45 in the morning, so we booked ahead with Boulevard. At the specified time, an Escalade showed up and delivered us to the airport. A sober, drama-free driver in the wee small hours. Escalades are really nice. I thought I read the fine print, but I didn't see that a tip is automatically added; so we gave the driver an extra tip in cash. Not really that big of a deal, but I wish we had known. read more

Pros Very responsive and transparent on initial contact. Pricing was clear and communication for pickup and itinerary were well handled. The Escalade was nice and overall it was a smooth and safe ride and I am grateful my wife and her friends had a safe night. Cons Pricey for the experience. We paid for a 5 star experience and that was not the case. Below is my wife's take: For my birthday, my husband hired Boulevard to drive me and three of my girl friends to dinner and karaoke. He picked me up at 5:30pm and dropped me off close to 1am. The final bill came to $900 (plus tip). Considering how much the service cost, I would've expected the driver to help me with my bags and to at least open the door for us. I was wearing heels, carrying a very large cooler bag with a couple bottles of wine, beer, and other drinks for our BYOB night. Two other friends brought large shopping bags as well. The driver got us to our destinations on time and in one piece, but with regards to service, he never left his seat. It took me a few minutes to even get out of the car at the end of the night because I had so many bags to take with me. I had to go in and out of the car twice just to get all my bags out of the very cramped area in front of my seat. He also dropped me off on the street and not on my driveway so it was a bit of walk. I'm no princess, but when someone is paid $900 to drive you somewhere, you'd think they'd at least help with the bags and doors. I also think I shouldn't have to ask. My friends use other drivers and found the service this night to be lacking as well. At the end of the day, if we are taking a ride share or a taxi van you get what you pay for (plenty of these drivers hold doors and help with bags of course). We just expected more for what it cost. read more

Highly recommend calling Boulevard Chauffeur for true service if you need a car service. We've only used them for trips to and from the airport but they meet you and help with luggage which is a huge help. Lawrence was ready and waiting for us after the hubs booked our reservation. He was on time (maybe had to wait a bit for us- cuz kids needed a potty break after deplaning -lol).
