Went for breakfast. Sat at the bar which is always advisable as the service tends to be quicker. That being said the bartender was also waiting tables. The breakfast sandwich and the tater tots were quite tasty. Would go back again

Visited this place as recommended by the visitor's guide. I had the vegetarian omelet it was humongous and very salty I could hardly finish it and had the tater tots to go. It's a nice place to chill if you have time before your flight. They also have large tables for groups. Their service was a bit slow but very friendly and kind. A bit pricy, but worth the price. And honestly around the same price for a brunch place on Long Island

I feel more relaxed being here and being treated well by Kirk has made it better. Air Train was a terrible experience with people pushing and no one helping a senior citizen when the door closed on his arm. Two men were standing at the door, looked like ICE agents, and not moving at all. We were two months in Europe and never experience anything like we just did. I wanted to cry. I felt so sad. About this restaurant - good service - good food and not a rip off. My husband said Tater Tots were delicious. My eggs were good and bacon perfect. Thank you Kirk for being personable and welcoming. I needed that.

First timer . I was waiting for my flight and wanted to have a quick brunch snd found this place . This place was right next to my gate .. wasn't that crowded and went in to eat , ambience was good . The place had lots of food varieties and a bar . They had some decent options on the tap . Very very pricey though ! Airport rates .. Beer costs about 15$ !! Crazyyyy .. food was good . Ordered egg omlette with some spinach on it and it was about 17$ ! Crazy . Presentation was good and tasted good . Took sometime for the order to be prepared and I had to rush to my terminal because it got delayed making the food. Paid about 40$ just for a beer and omlette which was insane !! Should have just gone and had a bagel or something on the way . Food was good but too expensive . 3 stars !

I just returned from Paris, which has phenomenal food, but craved a burger which is what I found here. I ordered the YE OLE PUB BURGER, which has Tillamook cheddar, arugula, pickles, bacon jam, and secret sauce on a pretzel bun. The burger was super delicious. The secret sauce and bacon jam provided insane flavors. The burger was very tender. The pretzel bun is not what I would call a pretzel bun, as it was pretty much a normal bun. The burgers come default with HOUSE MADE CHIPS, or you can upgrade to fries. I chose the chips because house made chips are a nice treat, and indeed these were. Super crispy, thick chips recognizably cut from a potato. I had to drink their own house brewed beer, their flagship Blueberry Ale. This was great! Most blueberry beers taste syrupy or like artificial flavoring. They brew this beer with tons of blueberries. It leaves your mouth coated, making you think you enjoyed some fresh blueberries...it really preserves the natural blueberry. This location is in JFK airport, and airport food is always crazy high in price. You just all have to accept this fact if eating in airport.

Every table in the place was dirty and it was not busy (which should have been a warning signal. When our server walked up and mumbled at us he pointed at water which they had sitting on all the tables and said "you know I'm gonna charge you for that". He dropped two menus and we did not see him again except to take our order. When the food came it looked and tasted like it was microwaved gas station food. My burger bun was so tough I could barely cut it in half. All of the above pleasures cost an arm and a leg on top of being bad food with a poor experience. TL:DR - keep walking to the next stop. There is nothing here worth your money.

Onella was so nice, stopping by our table to make sure we were good and even offering us a specialty drink. Another shout-out to the bartender whose name I didn't get, but she was a complete sweetheart. The drinks were really good. For food, I had the French toast and the eggs Benedict. I'm usually not a fan of eggs Benedict at all, but this one was actually delicious. The plates are small but definitely enough to fill you up. I wished the pastrami sandwich was available while I was there, but it's a lunch item and I missed the timing. They also handle things quickly here. There was an issue with one of the restrooms, but they immediately put it out of service and got right to work on fixing it. Its a nice relaxing place to kill time while waiting for your flight. Overall it was once again a great experience, and I'll definitely be back.

The hostess greeted me warmly and allowed me to browse the menu at my leisure without feeling rushed. The seating was spacious, and the self-serve bar area offered plenty of room. The decor and vibe evoked an early 60s charm, though the playlist featuring early 2000s hits was a quirky mismatch, yet, honestly, it grew on me and seemed to add a lively edge to the meal. The menu was straightforward, offering a tempting selection of chicken sandwiches and biscuit dishes. After some thought, I settled on the chicken ranch, it was ready in less than five minutes! The "Porch Sipper" drink was delightful; I ended up ordering a second, as its flavors transported me to open Kentucky fields, sitting on a wraparound porch on a warm summer day, savoring the music and gazing at the blue summer sky. The experience was truly immersive. And I must say, the staff radiated positive energy, they seemed genuinely happy to be there, which makes a difference when dealing with thousands of travelers daily. Jacob's Pickles is definitely a must-visit spot when passing through JFK Terminal 5.

To make matters more confusing, I then watched other families who also placed to-go orders being allowed to sit and dine in. It took over 40 minutes to receive an order of just 15 wings, and I had to ask about my order twice before it was finally brought out. When I received it, my drink was missing. I approached the server, who responded with irritation and said, "You're supposed to tell me if you're missing a drink." I was genuinely confused and replied, "Usually when I place an order, everything I ordered is included. I thought that was part of the service." He then raised his voice and told me I shouldn't tell him how to do his job. After finally sitting down to eat, I realized our celery and carrot side was also missing. At that point, I no longer had the energy to address yet another mistake. On top of that, the wings were incorrect we received only two of the three flavors we ordered and the food tasted stale, as if it had been sitting for quite some time. This experience reflected poor organization, inconsistent policies, and unprofessional customer service. Management should improve its ordering system and ensure employees are trained to respond professionally to customer concerns rather than becoming defensive. Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning.
