I came here for a birthday party and this was our first time. We were directed to the first room and all the kids loved all of the blow up activities. I was a little confused when we went to the 2nd room no one told us to take everything with us. I had to walk back through someone else's party when I realized what had happened. The 2nd room had a huge slide that the kids were interested in but it's really challenging to get up the structure for younger ages (our age group was 5-6). My sister had her son's 9th birthday party here this past weekend. The party cost was close to $400. Most party places are charging $200-$400 which is ridiculous anyway, however, go elsewhere. They only do party's so its a strict 2 hour window. 3 girls/hosts in the party room made stupid conversation- example "I dont know the words to happy birthday so youre going to have to sing it for me", they didn't do any clean up at all. Guests had to get a cup and get water from the fountain outside of the room. Why not put water pitchers in the room? Also charging $17 for 1 topp extra pizzas.. Waste of money! I have 2 pre teen kids and been to all the places. My mom also heard foul inappropriate talk in the restroom from the employees, she couldn't believe it. Thumbs way down read more

My son had so much fun I did as well normally hosting an event you miss the entire thing I was able to enjoy my sons 5th they ordered pizza the juice was gross the host was funny they took pictures and videos which were hilarious and they made it such an unforgettable experience. We have been to one of the birthday parties at BounceU Chesterfield and I was impressed how amazing and professional the party hosts were at that party. They took care of all the things and of everyone including adults. And that's the reason we selected BounceU to host our daughter's 3rd Birthday. However, our party host was horrible. Out of 2 hosts, one didn't even show up until the last 45 mins. They were unable to take care of even 18-20 kids. 1. No Photos were clicked for our party. Neither they were displayed on the TV 2. No napkins were provided for adults even after asking multiple times. 3. No knife for cutting the cake. When I asked them multiple times they gave my 3 year old daughter a full size sharp knife to cut the cake, which I denied. I ended up feeding her strawberries. 4. Both the hosts disappeared after serving pizza and cake to kids when they just started eating. 5. Both the hosts were least interested in hosting our party. 6. They hardly took care of kids, forget about adults. Me and my husband have served cake to our adult guests. 7. Many of our guests didn't receive return gifts since we were busy serving adults and taking care of kids in absence of a party host. 8. They wasted so much of our cake by cutting big slices of cakes for younger childrens. 9. We bought cookies for kids, they were not distributed to our guests. When I asked the host to serve the cookies she simply kept it in a plate at the center of the table for small kids. 10. No caps for the kids were provided. 11. The Big Chair on which the birthday child sits was way too far from the table and also was not in center. Kids did enjoy bouncing in those 2 rooms, but the overall experience was spoiled because of unprofessional and lazy hosts. I am not going to host any further birthday party at bounceU neither will recommend it to anyone. Definitely not worth $600+. After my kid insisting for months that they have their birthday here, I decided to give it a try. I was very happy with how easy it was to plan my party and I loved that the staff took care of everything for me! The staff were very friendly and helpful towards the younger kids. It was super nice to have them handle everything and get to relax and just have fun with my child. I tried this place out on a whim with my 2 year old. It was a rainy day and they had a preschool playtime scheduled. We almost had the whole place to ourselves which was nice. There are two different rooms the kids can play in, but even my 2 year old was able to push open the door from one area, walk across the lobby, and enter the other area on his own. If you have multiple kids or wanderers, this was a safety concern to me because the lobby has easy access to exterior door and parking lot outside. It's December and the inside was SO cold that I kept my toddler in a sweatshirt while he played and I even kept my thigh length Columbia jacket on. In terms of cleanliness, I definitely think this place was lacking. I'm not sure how they operate, but my son found a dusty old balloon tucked next to a bounce house and ran around with it. There were also a lot of popped balloons stuck in the crevices of the bouncy house - another safety issue if you have young toddlers who like to put things in their mouths. If you have kiddos in the 4-7 range, this might be a reasonable stop for you if you're not a germaphobe. But younger kids may be disappointed and older kids probably won't care. We won't go back any time soon. read more

My wife and I afterwards joked about how we didn't have to do anything and that everything was taken care of for us by the staff. Have been here for several birthdays now. Same formula. You hot one room of acivities for the first half hour, than another one after that and then a your pizza and cake party or whatever you prefer. So we went for a 5 year old birthday party and we were not permitted coz we were late. They still had 10 minutes left but the person at reception was like " You would take 5 minutes to do the paper work, and I don't want to put you through for just 5 minutes of play time " . So we didn't get to even see what it looks like. Also I would never do a party there. The party Co coordinator was not a good host. She distributed cake to everybody but me. When I went near and asked, she makes a face before saving me the cake, since she had wrapped up serving cakes. My child was clinged to me and the party host didn't even talk to make a child feel friendly. Although it was an orchestrated party, the people who work there do need training in customer relations, it should be not that commercialized. I am sure never to go back there again read more

The reason I give this place only 3 stars is because I had a three year old and a one year old with me and was charged for the one year old to be able to go in, but there was nothing for her to do. If charging for toddlers, there should be age appropriate activities for that age separate from the big kids so there is less chance of them getting very hurt. I will say that I think the fact the an adult is free and able to join the kids on the bounce houses and such so that they can help their kids is great, though! I also think the service was great. I took my son here for a birthday party, so I can't really complain about the value, seeing as how I didn't pay, but my almost 2.5 year old had a GREAT time, as did all the other kids at the party, ranging from 1 to probably around 7 or 8 years old. They have a pretty cool system of moving the group from room to room to allow for multiple parties but keep the play areas private as well as refreshing the scenery for the older kids. The staff took pictures and posted them on the party room tv to see during drinks, pizza, and cupcakes which I thought was pretty cool. The equipment was in good condition and pretty clean (well, as clean as those bounce house types of equipment could be). I'd definitely consider taking my son here to blow off some energy during the cold winter months. read more

Terrible birthday party experience. We spent over $450 for kid's birthday party. It supposed to be 1-hour bounce and 45 minutes party time (including pizza, cupcake and "open present"). Open present part is the most important and the most exciting part of the party. For the first one-hour bounce time, we probably only had 45 minutes. People gathered together in the lobby little earlier than the party time, but registering and watching tv instructions took about 10 minutes. We spent only 15 minutes at most in the first room. We spent 30 minutes in the second room, which is good. Then in the party room, the guy who served cake/pizza for us, totally forgot the "open present" part. 5 minutes before the end of the party, he asked us to pay the bill. When we questioned about the "open present", he said he forgot to ask if we want this. Of course we want this. We had been waiting for this for the whole time! Then he said the next party group is coming, we have to get out of the room. Terrible experience!!!!!! Would never hold a party there. The staff is not professional. They're overbooked. Each party group has to get out of the room a little ahead of time to let the next group in. Each time it feels like "you have to go, go, go, just go, the next team is coming, go to the next room, or go out of here, your time is up". Terrible terrible experience!!!!! Other than the $450, they also they charged 19 dollars for the photo they took. First the photo sucks, half of the face, weird angles. When you log on to the photo website, all photo are sized 20kb, so you can imagine how blur the photo looks like. Everything's overpriced, not worth it at all. Wow!  What a great experience we had at Bounce U!!  From the minute we walked in, they took care of everything.  Our 2 party hosts interacted with all of my guests and made my daughter feel extra special.  They even wrote down a list of all her gifts, which was great that I could just watch her open them!  Kudos to all of the staff members for being so friendly there and making sure we were satisfied!  All of our guests were commenting on how great the party was.  My daughter can't wait to go back next year.  Thanks, Bounce U, for a wonderful birthday that we will never forget! read more

Yesterday, April 24th 2014, I called Bounce U in Chesterfield and left a message wanting to reserve a spot for my son for Friday April 25th at 10:00 am for the preschoolers playdate. The website did not allow me to reserve a spot for my son online. The option for the preschool play date was not available in the online form. I decided to go anyway because on their website it showed they would have a 10:00 am playdate available in their calendar. I had a Groupon that was going to expire in the end of April, so I went with my son. Once we got there I explained to the manager that nobody had called me regarding my voice message and I wasn't able to get an appt. online. She let me in and pointed to one of their rooms. When I went in, I noticed that all the kids had been there for while. I asked one of the teenagers that watch over the kids if they had started early that day, and she said yes... they had started at 9:30! This meant that my son had missed 30 min of the one hour play date. What amazes me the most is the fact that the manager at the front desk didn't say a word about the early start, she just punched my card and pointed to the door for me to go in. When I bought the Groupon I paid for an hour and not 30min. If a business wants to have more customers through Groupon, they should be a lot more organized. I left the place 30 min. later after arriving there because the allotted time was over. The impression that I got is that the place is poorly managed and doesn't know how to handle the big crowd that Groupon brings. I will request that Groupon reimburse one of the visits since I was only able to use 30 minutes of the 1 hour session. I am very disappointed and I most likely will not return to this place. read more
