Thank God for Dr. Anand. I might have lost it and strangled them and their archaic, sexist and overbearing views with their stethoscope. Call ahead to make appointments and arrive a few minutes early. Walk ins are also welcome but if you're on a schedule, call to make an appointment.

I had a PAP test, ironically she got no interest of your reproductive health. I brought up a concern and she did not bother to ask or check, I was told (while she was walking out of the room) to discuss my concern to my doctor (when she's a doctor), Was she just a technician? She also asked me how I found her clinic to have a PAP test cause I was like overdue for a test. I told her I found it on the internet, and she told rather condescedingly that I should have done that 2 years ago, like HELLO? it was COVID lockdown during those times, did she just forget or had an amnesia? By the way you get to drop off your own PAP test to the LAB yourself. What an awful experience, I would not recommend and waste your time going to this clinic. If you are looking to feel better and have answers to your medical questions, then this is not the place to go.

I was a frequenter of CarePlace Medical for many years as I lived close and had no regular family…read moredoctor. I have had some decent medical treatment there, other times not so much. The doctors seem very concerned with just getting in and out of seeing patients to make as much money as quickly as possible - one doctor actually sent me home and told me to come back in two days when i was having an accute allergic reaction to a spider bite! Other doctors have refused to see me (once with a nasty infection from a cut on my foot I received on the beach) because they had seen their patient limit for the day and would not be paid to see me. I know a lot fo the issues there are rooted in systemic abuse of the medical system to the point doctors have stopped listening - however I think the standard of care here is seriously sub-par, the only reason i would go here again just simply to have a perscription filled (where no doctor examination is required). Oh yes, they will not make appointments if you call ahead, and expect a 2 hour wait time.

I assumed a rude front desk and doctors with atrocious bed side manner were the norm at walk - ins. Good news, this is not true and we are surrounded by many better places. Multiple times I have called to follow up on test results only to find out that 'oops' they didn't send them in. The lady at the desk is unbelievable. Many of us work difficult jobs. It is completely unacceptable to project your unhappiness onto clients. Find somewhere else to go!

I have been living in Canada for over seven years and never been so disrespected and hurt. I've wasted so much time at this clinic that I had to use Google to see what's wrong with my health since my doctor is doing nothing about it. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and didn't know about that until after about two years because as the doctor said (( he forgot to tell me )) ! Last time I had a phone appointment with Dr. Pereira and during the phone call he talked to me rudely and then hung up on me! So disrespectful! I was so devastated and depressed because I just had miscarriage and I was bleeding and I have depression and anxiety I was shaking while talking to him! As a doctor he's supposed to respect people's situations! So disappointing Dr. Pereira ALWAYS forgets things like giving me my prescription paper it happened a lot, also calling me back when the specialist tells Dr.pereira that I have a health problem that needs immediate attention! And he always forgets to tell me about my diagnosis because usually the specialist contact the family doctor and the family doctor is supposed to call the patient to tell the results. I had to call so many times to ask about my results with x-ray, MRI or blood test etc.. and discover there is a big problem! Then why he never calls me? And lastly I called and asked for medication refill and he refused to do that because he doesn't feel like he wants me to be his patient anymore! I'm lost can't find new doctor with covid it's very hard! He put me in a dead end! This is not a doctor's behavior he shouldn't be a doctor and doesn't deserve his license!
