Zip line on a green course
    Anna S.

Staff was very helpful and looked like they actually enjoy their jobs. Our guide (Sam) was thorough with instructions and answered every question the group had. Will return again in the future.

So after being in quarantine for so long in IL, we wanted to get out but not be unsafe. My friend found this place which is an out door obstacle course. When I read online they had new COVID rules in place. Which made me feel safe. When we got there, we were suited up. While wearing mask but we didn't have to wear them after that. The after a how to. You are on you're own on different levels. Note you can bring drinks and snacks and stuff With you, there are picnic tables to put everything. And if someone doesn't want to climb they can watch you from there. It's all in one place so you can see your stuff. A note I was down with two levels and tried a third. Bad idea, I was fatigued and by then third obstacle I fell, The harness works people! Since they want to keep a distance they tried to help me but ended up having to come get me, I could not balance and get up to get to then platform. Louie came up and got me, he was really great about it. The entire staff was great and encouraging. A really great place, for for all ages. :)

Our first outing post-COVID-19 stay-at-home mandate was exercised and enjoyed here, in the great outdoors of beautiful Kenosha County, WI. This exceptional camp affords individuals of all ages and abilities to test their boundaries across 4 different ability courses: yellow, green, blue, and black and a variety of zip lines, bridges, balance beams, platform jumps, and more. Requires a decent level of independence using harnesses, carabiners, and belaying, though there are trained monitors stationed throughout the park to provide assistance as needed. We were all wiped out after 3 1/2 hours. (Note: Some courses require adult supervision.) I would not recommend this for those who are afraid of heights and ill-coordinated. Very clean facility with access to restrooms.

This is a follow up to my previous post with proof we called before the event within the time period in your agreement. Now you accuse us of changing the time on our iphone. I am not sure how you do that and I cant believe you are crazy enough we would bother. You and your husband are something else. Yes we lied and are out to scam you! We flew to the east coast so the time would change (all sarcasm) You admitted in your email that your phones are set to a hour ahead. You say you can prove we are liars, we can prove we did the proper thing. Whatever happened to customer service. We explained the situation to the zip line park in Illinois and they were gracious to give us a discount for our problems with you. That is customer service. Shame on you!

I'm 53 and a bit out of shape but it pushed me and I still did half the blue advanced course. The green course was fun. My daughter crushed the black advanced but she's a highly skilled indoor rock climber and used some skills to help complete it. I would love to see more zip lines on each course to make it more fun. Overall though it's a unique place with easy to use harnesses with good clip in clip out systems that keep you safe on each obstacle course. I feel that I got the best work out as an middle aged guy that I actually needed. My kids both 13 loved it and we will go back for sure!

Ready to take down the course!

We had an amazing time! Such a great adventure and something different than your everyday park or indoor trampoline place. Kids loved it. It was definitely a bit pricey we would go more if it was a little less but totally worth it if you're just going once or twice a year. The only thing I wished they had had was a cafeteria and bathrooms that weren't port-a potties. They have lots of picnic tables there so you can take food with. I wish I would've known that. So if you're reading this you're welcome! Oh and take bug spray! They offer some there but it's best if you take your own.

Wow. What an awesome value. We had sooo much fun. The staff was great, it was clean and safe and well-run. It was a really great adventure for the grownups AND kids. My 8year Old was very empowered to manipulate the equipment himself - it was really great. Bring water, wear leggings, there's a great place to put your stuff and bring your snacks. We are definitely coming back!

Heard from a friend, we made ourselfves a weekend out of it. Came for 1pm, since it is fall, kinda chilly outside but the day was perfect. The climbing is designed the way that you just cant fall off. Adrenaline rush is included only when you have immence fear os height, but after a green course the fear just goes away. Recommended, if you are in a relatively good physical shape.

The Badass Dash 5K Obstacle Race is pretty new to the Chicago area. Last year was the first year…read moreand they held it in Rosemont. This year, they have two races. I completed the one at the Sears Center in Hoffman Estates. They are doing another one in August in Rosemont again too. Usually, these types of races are held pretty far from the city in rural, farm areas. I couldn't picture what this would be like in the burbs, but they did a really good job. The obstacles were really unique -there was no mud, but plenty of water oriented ones! Most of it was done either in or around the Sears Center (running up and down the stadium stairs were killer!) However, I was really pleasantly surprised by how pretty the prairie path was around this area too. It was the perfect combination of urban and "farm like" environments. The obstacles were pretty cool and many were unique to this race. My favorite was the end -climbing up the rope ladder and then sliding down into a pool. I would do this again next year -it was really fun and challenging! My advice, though; do not buy the spectator VIP package. I did and it wasn't really worth the money -this part was a bit disorganized and my parents didn't get any more "VIP" of a view than anyone else. Have your spectators sneak around and get a great view from the Sears Center lot.

I'm more used to the farm field type runs and…read morefound it a little disappointing to be running back and forth and back and forth in a parking lot for much of the run. That being said, it was still a good time and the obstacles were fun. The finish line area in particular was very very unorganized. The spectators were not separated from the runners in any way and there were many instances where the spectators were in the path of the course. The timing of the race was also odd. We signed up for the 9am heat, and they released the 9am heat in small batches at a time in 5 minute intervals so we were at the starting line for about 30-40 minutes after 9am waiting for our turn to go. They should have had a 9am heat, a 9:05, a 9:10, and so on. Then when we finished we checked the time of day, but had to wait a good 45minutes or so to find out what our race time was. We didn't know what time we finally started the race, so we couldn't figure out how long it took us to run it until they posted the times. All in all it was a good time, but I'll probably choose a different race to run next time.
