Date: Friday, April 10th, 2026 Time: 7:30pm Party of: 2 Meal: Dinner Reservation Made Thru: SevenRooms about 3 weeks prior *Truffle Bread ($5) x2 *A5 Tartare ($45) *Pop Tart ($32) *Bone In Ribeye ($98) *Dungeness Crab ($75) *Whip Trip ($17) *Creamed Spinach ($16) *Mushrooms ($19) *Tarte Tatin ($18) *Espresso Double ($8) *Coffee ($7) *San Benedetto Sparkling ($15) *Michael Mina 2018 ($22) *9oz Stags Leap Wine Cellars Cab Artemis ($88) *Arcadia NA ($16) *Food Tax ($31.05) *Alcohol Tax ($10.87) I had given up meat for a bit. Since I was jumping back onto the carnivore wagon, my friend and I decided to check out Bourbon Steak. I've been to many incarnations of this spot. The vibe now is much darker and maybe a lil swankier. Food is tasty, but pricey. The ribeye was cooked nicely. One of the surprises was the crab pasta. The sauce was decadent and creamy and there was a good amount of crab. They give you a complimentary trio of fries to start. Nice way into the meal vs bread. Tho I couldn't resist ordering the truffle bread. Service was great! We actually had a rezzie at Eighth Rule afterwards, but dinner took a lil longer than expected. They went ahead and alerted the bar and changed our time. Nice spot for a special occasion meal. Wish my pocketbook could see this as an everyday spot, but glad I was able to check it out. Oh noooo my steak's too juicy, my lobster's too buttery... I came with a party of 6 on a Monday, and the place was very lively. I think there was a conference happening nearby, bunch of people with name tags and lanyards. Service was fantastic, our waiter gave a lot of really good suggestions. We ended up getting probably half of the menu: Caesar and wedge salads, branzino, 2 ribeyes, lobster pot pie, crab spaghetti, potato trio, onion rings, asparagus, and the black truffle bread. Everything was phenomenal, but the ribeye and pot pie were especially good. Only thing I would skip are the desserts. We tried the shaved ice and the banana tart, both were forgettable. Definitely not a cheap dinner, but amazing experience for a special occasion.

I heard it was hard to get a reservation when they first opened, looked like they're slowing down now. Luckily I was able to snag one for 9pm on a Sunday last minute. It's in a hotel and you'd expect it to be feel as if it was apart of the lobby, but that wasn't the case. It was majestic, with a sage green and gold interior. The hostess greeted us with a very warm welcome and seated us immediately. We were put in a booth as requested, which was very appreciated. Our waiter came over and greeted us with champagne on the house. We started with two drinks and their complimentary fry trio. We ordered the caesar salad, bone in ribeye and mashed potatoes. All of the food was rich and delicious. I had a wonderful experience and will be back soon!!

Come with a group, get the tomahawk!!! I came here with a group of friends (there were eight of us) and we had a fantastic dinner. We ordered most things on the menu and four of us decided to share the tomahawk. The meal started great with complimentary fries that were just perfectly crispy and fatty. The noteworthy items for me were the orchard apple salad, oysters, the tomahawk, the bread, the tart tatin and the chocolate tart. When you order the tomahawk, they do a show table-side. The food is familiar yet really elevated - their truffle Mac and cheese is a great example of this. The restaurant itself was just gorgeous - the high ceilings and all the marble gives it a very elegant feel. The service was first-rate - very attentive but not fussy. The price per person is about $200 - which is worth it given the experience. Highly, highly recommended!!!

The best experience ever for my first steak house. After our trip back from San Francisco I was telling everyone about this place. I ordered the filet mignon with the Cesar salad and 3 potato appetizer. I ordered my steak medium rare and was cooked so perfectly it melted in my mouth like butter. Out of the three potatoes mash I liked 2/3 just didn't like the horseradish potatoes. The ambiance was nice and intimate. The waiter kept coming by to check on us and recommend us a few items. Can't wait to go back.

Everything was perfect and on point. The New York Steak was cook to perfection and was delicious. We had the oysters and tuna tartar, which was also delicious. The server was very nice and attentive.

Stopped in late for a night cap. What an awesome place. Sat at the bar and we were promptly asked what we'd like. Servers are very knowledgeable and professional. The drinks and dessert we had were just top notch. Can't wait to come back. It's a busy place with a calm but exciting vibe with great music.

Our experience at Bourbon steak was good. Our party of 8 enjoyed a variety of entrees including the Tomahawk which was the star of dinner. For a Wednesday, the restaurant is buzzing with patrons and the bar packed. I would have like to see more attention in refilling waters and wine pouring. Speaking of wine, corkage starts at charge at $75 per bottle. A reservation is a must.

All staff from start to finish was amazing! Friendly, welcoming and attentive. Not sure about the name of our server but on the receipt it was listed as Andrew, he was so patient and all smiles each time he or the others would check on us. We loved the look, feel and ambiance of the restaurant, very intimate and gorgeous. We loved the green color on the ceilings and the chairs. We were celebrating our 6th wedding anniversary and everyone took care of us, they all greeted and wished us for many more years. We just felt special, it was an amazing decision that we picked this restaurant to spend our night. Food was delicious, it was cooked and presented as good as it looked in the photos! Also great that we picked the hotel to stay at as well. I would highly recommend it to people I know, I hope to come back next time when we visit from San Diego. Applaud to the whole team, I hope you guys keep doing a great job, me and my husband appreciate you guys, thank you.

My family came here for Christmas dinner and while it is time to spread cheer, I have to be honest on this establishment. The service was slow, and it might have been due to it being nearly a packed house but by the middle of our meal, when most tables were gone, the checking in was still a ghost of Christmas past. Now let's talk food. I started with the ahi, which contained one taste note - SPICY. I couldn't taste the delicate fish as it was completely masked in an overwhelming amount of spice. This dish was also screaming for acid as well... The filet entree was subpar. The steak wasn't juicy and the best thing on the plate was the roasted tomatoes... now that is saying something. My parents both ordered the prime rib and when both dishes came out, we could hear the cow still mooing... thats how blue the steak was. For a restaurant that emphasizes meat- this is quite an embarrassment. The saving grace was the dessert . The cheesecake was perfectly balanced and delicious and the beignets were one of the best I have ever tried. Hats off to the Pastry Chef! So happy that this night ended with a Christmas miracle.

Our visit to the restaurant started off poorly as one of the hostesses racially discriminated against my family (the ONLY reason I had to take a star away). We were quite obviously ignored multiple times and all 4 of us were SKIPPED over when the hostess went around to ask everyone else if they were our party's name. We knew it was because we didn't look like everyone else waiting. Other than this disappointing interaction with her, everything about this restaurant was outstanding. We loved the dim lighting and elegant decor. We ordered: * Black truffle bread (10/10) * Australian wagyu tomahawk (10/10 - so good with the chimichurri) * Whipped potatoes trio (8/10) * Scallion potato cakes w/french onion dip (7/10) * Creamed spinach (9/10) * Fried brussels sprouts (10/10) * Warm beignets & dipping custards (10/10 - these were the BEST beignets I've had) For drinks, we had the RN74 2014 and Pabu 2025. Both were very delicious! Our server was excellent, and the restaurant manager was very kind. We will be returning in hopes that ALL staff treat everyone equally.

Had a great time there with the family. We tried the French fry flight, whipped potato trio, New York Strip, salmon sashimi, and got a whole bunch of desserts. The staff was well educated on the menu and the wine program is great, a wide selection of wines at relatively reasonable price points. Additionally the room is stunning and there's tons of hidden Easter eggs like The Great Magneta Clock

Went here for one of my close friends birthday and the vibes of the restaurant was elevated but still chill. Our server was so attentive and did a great job at recommending stuff on the menu. I got the filet and my friends and I shared the multiple sides. The steak was cooked beautifully and I really enjoyed the puréed potato trio. My friend got the salmon and said it was the best salmon she's had. The lemon drop was also really good. Would def come back here!

Located in the legendary Mission District of San Francisco, this wine bar is a great spot to catch up with friends and enjoy small bites and yummy crafted cocktails. Their decor is very chic and I especially loved all of the hardware, glasses, tables, and benches. This place was styled by a great design artist. Even though the place was pretty packed and can be kind of noisy, I still felt very calm amongst all the healthy plants and loved the sophisticated 70s inspired glassware. Another great feature of this place is that you can buy most of the plants because they have some for sale so after a couple of cocktails, I was ready to redecorate my whole house with all the plants. I ordered a yummy Rose blend that was super crisp. Also enjoyed the Truffle Fungi! A delicious Shiitake and oyster mushrooms with parmesan and arugula on toasted bread. Their Spanish inspired potatoes were delicious with their dipping sauce. They have lots of gatherings there and DJ sets on the weekends. Lastly, a photographer would die to take pictures here. There is no bad shot as the design artist made sure every section of this cute wine bar was picture perfect. Loved all my photos and videos. I look forward to returning to this exquisite wine bar!

Charging the $10 event fee on discretion before the posted event start time seems... shady? illegal? My two friends got in a few minutes before with no cover. I was dealing with a bike lock while they went in. We were not there for the event but rather as volunteers from the weekly cleanup refuse crew in the Mission. You get perks as a thank-you for doing your part in making the City a cleaner place. We had just had a lovely time at another participating business (Beehive) and planned on Arcana being our final stop. Thankfully I was able to use the restroom without a fee, with my gear held up outside by the security team. While waiting in the restroom line, I told a staff member about all this, and the worker seemingly went up to the front to find out what's going on. The line took a few minutes, my friends also bumped into me, and I told them I'd likely wait for them outside the business post-restroom while they finished their wine. Already reported to the Mayor's Office. Maybe I'll add BBB. Should be honest and equitable! Four out of 200+ reviews by me have been one star, so I rarely share negativity. It's all rather unfortunate as other visits here went off without an issue. I warned a group of four about all this while I waited out front, and after talking to the front door folks, they left and thanked me for the advice. Please be careful if you visit here. . . .

The people were laughing, the drinks were flowing. It smelled really good, which we would later find out was from the food especially that Mac and cheese. We started off with different wines, some that Tom recommended based on what we told him we didn't like or did like. He apologized for our previous experience and was genuinely a nice guy. Honestly it's very admirable for a business owner to take feedback to heart and want to incorporate it. Plus he's a really cool guy when you get to know him. The staff was busy running around but still made time to come check on us. Our final verdict is we came on a bad day. This time we got the actual Waystone experience. We finally got to try the chicken bites with a creamy aioli, fries with yogurt sauce, and the star of the show was the Mac and cheese. Tik tok did live up to the hype and we will have to come back for one of their jazz nights. Be warned this place gets busy! But it's worth it.

The energy is vibrant without feeling overwhelming, and the noise level is just right. It's quiet enough to have a conversation and get lost in your own thoughts, but not so quiet that you feel awkward sitting in silence. Plus, the people watching was pretty entertaining, which definitely added to the experience. The three of us only tried two different wines. My friend ordered a glass of Masha, while my other friend and I both ordered the Los Chuchaquis. The verdict: Masha was really good. Good enough that a second glass was ordered! As for the Los Chuchaquis, I personally didn't love it. I found it a little too tannic and bitter for my taste. If you have a low tolerance for bitterness, this might not be the wine for you. That said, my friend, who ordered the same wine, absolutely loved it and thought it was delicious. So maybe I just ordered the wrong wine for my palate? ‍ Either way, the wine is only part of the experience. The energy here is fantastic, the bartender was welcoming and friendly, and the crowd was cheerful without being obnoxious, which I really appreciate. I'm not usually much of a night person, but I genuinely had a great time. It was one of those evenings that reminded me how nice it is to get out, enjoy good company, and simply soak in the atmosphere. I'm really glad I took my friends up on their offer to go out. Definitely a 5 star experience for the atmosphere, the energy, and the overall vibe. This seems to be such an interesting neighborhood.
