I recently had poppy seed cake and tried my friend's blueberry crumble, both of which were delicious. They have savory dishes and salads, but I haven't tried any. A great thing about coming here rather than a tea room is they have alcohol! Ok the beer choices aren't anything to brag about, but there are some nice local wines. A quirk of this place -- and part of what makes it cool -- is it also doubles as a furniture showroom. Yes, the furniture in the cafe is also for sale. The style is an industrial/vintage look, and has a lot of character. They also have live music in the evenings from time to time.
