We stopped by around 7pm on Tuesday night, and were very pleasantly surprised. This place is just a little gem. The inside is colorful and cozy with games at the front. Good smaller sized spot with really delicious açaí options!! We got the endless summer signature bowl with açaí and refreshing summer fruits blended in. I asked and there's no added sugar, the base was slightly tart and mixed perfect with the fruit, granola, and agave drizzle. Definitely coming back for a sweet treat! read more

My nephew wanted to come here on his birthday and I had never heard of this place so I had no expectations. I got the Just Like Heaven smoothie and a few CBD honey packs. Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice and quiet. They have books if you want to hangout for a while and read. There are plugs if you want to work from one of the tables. Service was great and the smoothie was delicious and my nephew enjoyed his bowl. I'm not typically in the area but I'll definitely be putting this on my to-do list soon. read more

Bowl Mami was a nice, unexpected find in Carrollton! This morning I woke up craving an Açaí bowl. My boyfriend did a quick search and found Bowl Mami just a few miles away. It had good reviews, so we decided to give it a shot! Bowl Mami had plenty of parking, very friendly staff who gave us all kinds of recommendations, and cute inner decor. We were going to take our food to go, but everything was so cute and everyone was so welcoming that we decided to sit and eat inside. I ordered the Mami Bowl which was FANTASTIC! Unsweetened açaí, strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and granola sweetened with a little agave - yum, yum, yum! No wonder it is one of their most popular dishes. I also shared the Sugar, Spice, and Everything Nice avocado toast with my boyfriend. It was recommended to us by the girl working the counter; she said it was her favorite, and I was not disappointed! Loads of fresh avocado on sourdough bread seasoned with everything bagel seasoning, red pepper flakes, and agave. The perfect combination of sweet and spicy! I would definitely order this again. I can't wait to go back to Bowl Mami. If I have anything to say about it, we'll go again tomorrow before we head back home to Houston! read more

I'm new to the area and gave them a try. I got the Sugar , spice, and everything nice avacodo toast on sourdough bread. It was jammed packed full of flavor and the sweetness was sudtle and not to over powering. I got the Scarlet Begonia was really good. Lastly I got the gin and juice raw pressed juice which was my least favorite. It was bland and missing something. Overall I loved all the food and will definitely come back again! read more

A locally owned healthy juice and snack bar. I can't believe I'm just now writing a review for this place!!! I come here at least 3 to 4 times a month. They have great Wi-Fi and it's a great place to just pop in and work for the afternoon. Bowl mami is my favorite and they have some amazing avocado toast. It was a very cute and clean spot. I visited this location for the first time because at the time it was at 5 stars. I will say I myself expected to be wowed with flavor. I was thrown back and the smaller portion for the price and the lack of açaí flavor. I understand it's as natural as possible which is great, but my expectations were high due to a five star location. I ordered two mami bowls. Beat thing was they had games available. I've been to Bowl Mami atleast 5-6 times now. I've tried multiple different menu items, and as someone who adores smoothies and bowls, I have not liked anything I've ordered here. And I'm someone who can chug wheatgrass/ginger juice! (So this is not related to there being potentially less sugar here.) There just is no flavor to any smoothie here at all. I'm leaving this review due to my recent "final straw" experience. Yesterday I decided to come here for a quick healthy breakfast before work, so I arrived around 8:08am so that I had enough time to make it to work that began at 9am. I ordered a smoothie and toast, but there were tech issues with the tablet software and so my order wasn't able to be "taken" for about ten minutes later. I waited at the front while the staff member called the owner. While this initially didn't bother me, I began to grow impatient due to my further experience. My order wasn't put in til probably 10 minutes after arriving, and the order itself wasn't started until another 5-10 minutes after that. From my perspective, being a longterm manager, and working at a restaurant, my order should have at least been put in verbally even if the computer wasn't working. I was very shocked of the delay because there was no one in the cafe or any orders being made. I was dressed for work and obviously ready to go. A woman walked in at this time and placed an order. I still waited and it became 8:30am. My workplace is 25 minutes away. The woman who came in received her order before me and within 5 minutes! I was shocked. Especially because she ordered 2 items just as I had. I had been there for a long time at this point just for a piece of toast and the small sized smoothie. I didn't receive my order until 8:38am. 30 minutes after I arrived. I finally get my smoothie and the green straw cracks and breaks fully down the middle so I can't even drink it. Please get rid of these cheap straws!! Every time I've come here the straw breaks and is sharp that it could cut your tongue! I arrived at work late unfortunately due to the delay. My coworker had a straw in her purse so I was able to actually drink the smoothie. Unfortunately it did not taste good, like all of my other past experiences with smoothies here. Luckily The toast was better than the smoothie! But it tastes more on the oily side. I left this review so that the owner could potentially hear some realistic feedback, because I don't see any other bad reviews of this place and I'm very confused. I haven't had any good food experiences here whatsoever and have had to wait very long every single time even while always empty. This is the closest smoothie shop by my house and it is unfortunate I will have to drive further to visit the other options in the area now. But literally anywhere else has tastier healthy food. I recommend "The Juice Bar", "Vitality Bowls" "The Original Chop Shop", and "Juice Land" over here. read more

This place is excellent if you're trying to be healthy and lose weight. Plus the staff are so helpful in answering whatever questions you have. It's really beautiful inside and kind of like an oasis away from the noise. I think my favorite thing here was that they have a "Pay it Forward" system where anyone can help others in need by buying them a meal. read more

My husband and I got a smoothie and toast and surprisingly it was very filling. The price is quite high, for 2 smoothies and two toasts it was a little over $30, which I understand but bummed about bc I won't be able to frequent this place for a snack. I had the pleasure of trying this local biz while on this side of town this week. The manager, Sheena (I hope I spelled that right), was so kind and personable. I had no idea what kind of smoothie I was in the mood for and she told me to just trust her. A couple of minutes later, she arrived with a beautiful dragon fruit smoothie with loads of different berries and fruits! It was delicious! Highly recommend! I'm also a huge fan of the decor inside of the shop! Warm, bright lighting, and eclectic pieces of art hung on the wall. It was a treat to visit. The entire menu is full of natural ingredients, with the fresh fruits laid out right in front of you to see for yourself! I'll be sure to come by again the next time I'm on Carrollton. read more

Stopped by Bowl Mami to continue our 2023 healthy eating. When you arrive there is plenty of parking in the back. Also, the shop looks small from the outside but there is plenty of seating inside and outside. I ordered the Mami Bowl (acai, strawberry, banana blend topped with strawberry, blueberry, banana) but I substituted the banana for mango. The bowl was good, but I was sad that there wasn't a large size available. I'm looking forward to returning back to Bowl Mami in the future. read more

This was my first time here and it was great! The service was nice and my drink was incredible! I had the Bowl Mami and it was excellent. It was fresh, cold, and the size was generous. The atmosphere was relaxing. I deducted a star based on the service. Perhaps the young lady was training, but there was no one with her. She was very unsure of whether there was gluten-free granola, which is strange considering that it's all over the menu as being available. She did ask in the back and confirmed its availability. She would not speak up and enunciate her words. Therefore, she was very hard to understand. I want to give her the benefit of the doubt. I would certainly return here as it was overall a very pleasant experience with a yummy bowl. read more

This is the BEST smoothie bowl store I've ever visited! They have lots of art pieces from local artists exhibited in store, with a shelf of board games and plenty of plants! Also, the BEST green base smoothie bowl I've ever had, I had the kale with avocado as base and added blueberries kiwis with light honey on top. Omg the texture of the green base was so creamy and smooth and the ingredients were all very fresh! I even wanted to have another smoothie later that day but they were closed at that time. Well, that was my intention, but the lady taking my order was so unnecessarily rude and short with me, that I didn't want to stay there. I've encountered a number of employees here while picking up. They've all been really nice and pleasant, but in this one occasion, I dealt with an older woman who from the get go, was oddly mean with zero provocation. I wanted to order a monthly special. I called it the "monthly special bowl" because that's exactly what the sign by the register said. She got exasperated with me because I didn't call it what ever description was listed under the heading and rolled her eyes and refused to make eye contact. I decided to get the bowl to-go because it was very clear this person was irrationally upset at something. It just felt like it wasn't a good idea to stay. It was a downright bizarre reaction and it felt very unwelcoming. She was the only person working so she went in the back to make the bowl. When the bowl was ready she passed off the bag to me- once again, not making eye-contact and asking exasperated that she had to deal with a customer. I'm very passive and would never call someone out or try to match that kind of energy. I would recommend this lady not deal in a customer facing role. All other encounters with other employees here are great, so this was the only experience I would say detracts from Vitality bowls. I've been happy and satisfied with the bowls and smoothies I've ordered here and I wouldn't let that one experience keep me away from VB, I would just hope that lady gets an attitude adjustment before she drives customers away.
