Not sure why Bowlero in Lowell is rated so poorly, I have always had a great time bowling here! Typically I go to Boston Bowl or King's since those two are closer to me, but whenever I am in the area, I come here to bowl. I like the lanes a lot actually and maybe it's because I tend to bowl much better here compared to other bowling alleys haha. I remember one time I visited, I hit a strike every turn and basically had a perfect score game. I haven't tried any of their food or drinks, so I unfortunately cannot give any insight. Overall, I really enjoy coming here to bowl and always had a positive experience. I guess the only thing is it is pretty expensive to bowl here. read more

I was there on a weeknight and the bowling alley wasn't overly crowded There was a calm energy at the place. The Young Lady at The Bar was Nice and made me feel at ease. I was Blessed To try the double cheeseburger and fries. The Chef that cooked the burger knows what type of seasoning is good on a burger and the meat wasn't dry. I went bowling with a friend and the all around experience was underwhelming. I had other expectations but it did not live up to it. The only highlight was the mozzarella bites! There is a two line setup, one for reservations and to sign up to bowl and the other one is for bowlers who were done bowling. I had made a reservation so we stood in that line. A lady went through the "returning bowlers" line and though we were in line first, they took care of her first. It seems like she was having issues with "sticky lanes" and was demanding they be cleaned immediately. Anyways, we were not acknowledged for a good 6-7 minutes despite there being several employees at the front desk. When someone finally looked at us they told us to wait, we waited and waited some more. Finally, he acknowledged us then I told him we had a reservation to which he proceeded to ask me to wait, again. Our reservation was for 4:30pm, we arrived on time and made it to our lane blast 4:43pm. Fine! We get to the table, the menu has a QR code which you were instructed to scan, order and pay, so we did that. First, we ordered a Lemon Drop martini, White Russian, Mozzarella Bites and the Chicken Bacon Ranch flatbread pizza. We got our food about half hour later, the server came, didn't say one word, dropped off the food and left. She did not give us plates for us to serve our food. We were wondering where our drinks were since those usually come out way before the food. We waited a few more minutes before my friend went to ask the bartender. The bar wasn't busy for a long time. The bartender told my friend the order had not printed, apologized and offered to bring the drinks to our lane. About 10 minutes later, the bartender shows up with three cups. One was the White Russian, the other was the lemon drop martini with a side of ice. I was confused as to why she brought them separate but, fine! My drink tasted like watered down milk and my friend's lemon drop martini was heavy on the lemon. The mozzarella bites were decent. The flatbread pizza wasn't terrible, however, it could have stayed in the oven a little longer as it was very chewy and doughy so it felt undercooked. We didn't finish it. We were two games in when a staff members comes over and asks us if we needed anything. I wish he had come sooner but appreciated he checked in. We opened a tab with him and ordered the Nachos, water and the plates we never got. He was friendly and attentive. The nachos were pretty good. When we left, it was clear where the shoes go but once you went there it was not clear what you had to do with them so we just left them on the table. The bathroom was clean, however, it smelled very bad. All in all, the actual bowling experience was good, not sure I'd be getting drinks there and will really think about the food if I return. Been bowling here for years (decades would be more accurate). This year has been the worst. Between the continuous semi disaster that has been bar service and staff, to the "rules" set up at the start of the season with the new manager it's just crazy. Walk into a mostly empty house? Sorry no lanes available. You need a reservation - even for league practice. Call to try and make a reservation? Yeah, you just walk in for that. Rebelling has been as bad. Oh - and try to reserve a lane for 2 people to bowl? That will be at least $70. It's sad, but with limited options, they can be this way. read more

In the area exploring and came across a gem. Wings were decent and the bartender did make my drink extremely weak It might as well had been juice. The arcade is little and the air hockey table needs fixing. They turn the music on and lights down Friday around 10 pm and wings are half off as well Fridays. read more

RIP. OFF. How much would you pay for 2 guys to bowl 3 strings? $30? $40? No, my friend, how about $60!??!! Yep. Sixty dollars to bowl. Ridiculous. Now, it's a decent place. Nicely decorated, shoes are all right, alley worked fine. But it can be a mess. They put is in a lane right next to some toddlers birthday. These babies kept wandering over and nearly got hit as we were swinging. And these dope parents kept standing partly on our lane. It was stupid. There were plenty of other open lanes - why do they always want yo crammed next to others??? Arcade is tiny and not worth it. Machine that redeems your tokens doesn't work and can't read multiple cards at once. When we tried to have the guy at the counter combine our credits onto one card, he messed up and we lost half of what we earned. It's a mess. And for that price, we will never be back. read more

Bowlero Lowell had been going downhill for past year. We have been in leagues here for over 8 yrs and wish there was another place! Tonite 1) no soap at all in ladies room, the entire soap holder was gone . 2) our prebowlers score not in computer until we ask ...again, 3) practice starts late (almost every week), 4) tap beer taste flat, no foam- returned it. If you go up to front desk and say something the guy just scowls at you, this goes for quite a few staff members. Very bad service overall. Waited over an hour for our lane at a bar filled with dirty plates & glasses, only to see two people walk in & immediately get a lane before us. After bringing it up, we then got placed at a lane again filled with dirty plates & glasses that we had to remove ourselves. We also couldn't play any games as one of the employees turned off the card loading system while we were waiting. I don't know what everybody's problem is with this place. I went here this past March on a Saturday night with one friend. We had a good time. I reserved a lane ahead of time, but I don't think It would've bothered me to wait at the bar for an hour. The place was clean. The bartender was friendly. Every time we attempt to walk into bowl we are given an arbitrary amount of time to wait despite the fact that half the lanes remain empty for over an hour at a time. We've been rudely told to make reservations on multiple occasions even though you are forced to pay a shoe and reservation fee, ensuring that Bowlero scrounges every cent from you to bowl a few casual games. read more

I didn't know that Brunswick Zone changed names? Just thought they were being fancy and put random labels on their building (they renovate and repaint the outside a lot). It was a busy Saturday night, but after going to 2 other bowling alleys, we decided to wait out the 1.5hr+ time for an open lane. The bar/food area was the same as when Brunswick was there. Also, the pool table and darts were taken as well. The margaritas I ordered that night were pretty light, and the large fries were more than enough for our group of 4. PS: grease up your friends hands so you can beat them at bowling!! BUWAHAHA!! At the end of the night, a 3 rounds of bowling with 4 people and rented shoes, our total was $106. Terrible "pro-shop". I called there asking about buying a new ball and if there were any specials. The guy said they did have some older balls on sale and to come on in. Said he would "get me all set, today." So I drive 45 min (I needed a ball today) there, only to have him tell me in person that they don't have any balls on site. They have to order them! Very bad service, went here on a Saturday evening lady at the front desk told us the wait time was 30 minutes to an hour. asked her if I could give my info so that we could be notified when a lane was available, She said that wasn't possible which seems like a lie. Went to the bar, tried to get a drink before bowling, the bartender was noticeably being rude from the start. Everyone in the group is of age but IDs were taken out back and then later not accepted due to being out of state. Apparently you need to be a MA resident to have a drink out bowling with your friends. The bartenders name was Ashley, who was VERY unprofessional, getting loud, and causing a scene due to being on a power trip. I go to bowlero at least once a week and WILL NEVER be coming back. She is the worst bartender and employee I have ever seen. Very disrespectful and rude. If you or anyone you know wants to go bowling, have a good time, and grab some drinks while doing it, Bowlero is NOT the place to do it. Take your hard earned money elsewhere. read more

Terrible service. We had a group of 5 last friday night. I saw the woman assisting another party at the counter. I told the gentleman at the counter we had a party of 5. And the woman was like "yeah Ill be right with you". Then when she was ready to take care of us she mocked me because " I didn't wait my turn". Didn't think you need 3 people to get people set up on a bowling lane. We went out for my birthday. And honestly it was a pretty shitty time. The bowling balls were the same old ones from Brunswick. It was hard finding a ball to my sizing of my fingers. A lot of the balls on the rack had cracks or chunks missing. Once the people next to us were leaving we decided to take the table so we could sit by our lane. The staff made it a big deal we took the table after we put our stuff there. It was 9 pm and it was not too busy . The music was a bit dated and hard to hear over screaming teenagers. After a bit another staff member told us it was ok to take the table and we can move over 1 lane. Then a group of college kids weren't talked to when they took over the lane we previously had and they were taking up all the space in the world including a table they weren't "assigned to". If this was still the brunswick you would get 4 stars because i was kicked out for dancing sober to many times to count as i knocked those old unblanced and no line warning pins back. This is bowlero almost as tasty as a fresh bowl of fire weed this establishment finds every way to facilitate your whole night for the price of 13.50 (each) with free shoes when the beast arrived here that night. It tests your skills with all night bowling till midnight a steal for the pin addict. Your main cost will be the multiple pitchers of bud light that will bring nirvana at that 14 shmeckles price point. I was able to get everyone decently buzzed for our uber home. I came in with 140$ expecting maybe i would pay 50 but the environment was so increasingly comfortable couth and full of fun. I wanted every penny to go to these gorgeous waitresses and waiters that treated us like family all night. To the comfort levels While dancing hard to the strikes we would fall in to continous laughter with overtones of light competition and seizing the night . The beer is fair and can be consumed in cups the size of half my body if that does not facilitate you i dont know what will. the cost to stay all night is just right. Now the food 20$ bucks for an app plate that fed four people with leftovers to boot. Wrap my liver and stomach to your lanes ill be here all night. The beast likes to dance and be extra as ye say but this staff not only complimented but told me to come back with my dance moves and flow. 5 out of 5 forks from the beast it was the best money ive spent all month except rent. Also the video games pool tables and dart board will treat ye with thee fear of the bowling Ball there is something for everyone at this lit bowlero. read more
