Although this Chemist has recently been taken over by the co-op pharmacy chain it still feels like a local chemist apart from the fact that the inside has been upgraded to a much more modern feel and the co-op branding. The staff are still the same and as friendly as ever. They are very helpful and happen to listen and advise. If it is something a bit more medical they will get the pharmacist who is always happy to help and I even had butterfly stitches put on my knee here after falling over when i was younger so I didn't have to go to hospital. You can expect to pay the same price for the brands but i like their own brand stuff as it does the same job and is much cheaper. I get their own paracetamol suspension for my daughter when she's teething and you get double the amount than the branded one for a pound cheaper. read more
