What a great breakfast for probably the best price in Provincetown. Beautiful surroundings, great staff, just a really great experience Overall.

    $10 Lettuce sandwich

$10 for a turkey sandwich sounded pretty reasonable for ptown. So I asked to add bacon...and the tab turned into $15. Which seemed obscene even for ptown prices...but, in the wider scheme of things, an offense I can ignore at the end of a mellow few days. Until I bite into the sandwich, which, on the plus side, is full of fresh lettuce. But on the Turkey side....an embarrassment to Ptowns pilgrim roots. (see: fig.1)

I was happy to finally try Box Lunch during my last trip to P-Town. It's slightly off the beaten path and with all of the other food options in town, sometimes it can be missed. But the sandwiches and soups here are definitely worth checking out. It's a seasonal business, so you'll need to catch them while they're open. When I was there, staffing was an issue so the wait for food was EXTREMELY long...but that's not taking any points away. The young man that was running the entire business by himself was busting his butt and doing an extraordinarily good job considering the circumstances. We had the clam chowder and lobster roll - both were awesome. Grabbed a bench nearby and scarfed it all down outside under an umbrella. Lots of great breakfast and lunch choices; I'll definitely be back.

We were looking for a place to eat, and many places were getting booked up. My son and his girlfriend suggested this spot. Upon arrival, you need to order your sandwich and drink at the counter. I chose a chicken sandwich and a glass of wine. When I sat down to enjoy my meal, I found the wine to be above room temperature and not very pleasant; it seemed off and probably shouldn't have been served. As for the chicken sandwich, it was just okay--not as good as what you'd get at Jersey Mike's or Firehouse Subs.

First stop in Ptown was at Box Lunch! It's conveniently located on the Main Street right off MacMillan Pier. We got in for a late lunch and were promptly served. The servers and staff were all very friendly and social which was really nice. I got the chicken Caesar wrap with Cape Cod chips (of course). The wrap was much larger than I expected but pretty good. It was heavier on the lettuce and less so chicken but still overall very tasty. Perfect way to start a beach day!

While looking for a quick lunch in Provincetown Ma we came upon this cute place . It was down a little walkway where there was an artist painting ! There are several other shops in this area too , a cupcake shop and a French pastry shop ! The Box Lunch has a large variety of sandwiches , wraps and salads with choices of meats , chicken and lobster and so much more . We enjoyed a freshly made wrap and sat quietly and enjoyed our lunch .I had grilled chicken with crispy fresh lettuce , tomato with cranberry spread , very good and reasonable priced !

This is a perfect, easy, no-frills, inexpensive lunch spot! Wraps, sandwiches, and salads, there is plenty to choose from. I appreciated an extensive vegetarian/vegan menu. The wrap was very simple and with fresh ingredients. Perfect for a semi-quick lunch option to eat there (communal seating outdoors only) or take on the go

This location is so superior to the others in both service and taste. I had the lobster deluxe and highly recommended. The staff is so accommodating that they move the tables around to provide best seating options for each party. 10/10!

The breakfast sandwich was pretty good on a sweet English muffin. However they gave me a "side of fruit" which consisted of the smallest slice of watermelon you've ever seen and 4 blueberries. My friend ordered the big breakfast. Potatoes were very salty and soggy but overall pretty good. The mimosas and iced lattes were pretty bomb. A little concerned because the tables were being cleaned with windex but at least they were getting cleaned. Overall an okay dining experience but wouldn't go back.

It might even be our new favorite. My family ordered the deviled eggs, which I got to try and I ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. I had never heard of a restaurant using shredded cheese on a burger so that was a unique experience. It was still good though. I asked for my burger cooked rare and they did just that. The meat was seasoned pretty well and the french fries hit the spot. I ordered two diet cokes that went down FAST and really washed everything down. I was happy with the service and I love that it's an LGBTQ+ owned business. The history of the restaurant is really sweet and I've heard that the owners of the restaurant will even come out to say hi to you if you ask to meet them. Overall it was a great dining experience and I would love to try more items on the menu in the future.

The burger was massive and also quite tasty. I had the chicken sandwich and it was very good but a little too spicy for me. All the sandwiches came w chips except the burger was served with good fries. For dessert we shared the praline sundae and peach and blackberry cobbler. Both were incredible. Service was attentive and warm! Eli was our server and deserves all 5 stars as do the bussers who kept our waters filled and table clean

There's plenty of seating, both shaded and in the sun, which made for a really nice atmosphere. The food was average overall and seemed more pre-made than homemade or gourmet. The classic margarita was on the smaller side and a bit too sour for my taste. The classic mojito, on the other hand, was refreshing with plenty of mint and quite good, though not exceptional. What really stands out here is the atmosphere it's the main reason to visit. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly, which added to the experience.

Originally from Ponte de Lima in the north of Portugal, Silva immigrated to the United States in late 1972. She would eventually settle in Provincetown, which at one time had a large Portuguese immigrant population. It was difficult at first to learn a new language and customs, but eventually she found her niche working as a baker and teaching English to Portuguese immigrant children. In the late 1990s, an ice cream parlor by the beach went up for sale. Silva decided to purchase it and make it her own business. Today the café is open for breakfast and lunch and serves an array of fresh baked goods, sandwiches, wraps, salads, smoothies, coffees, and shakes. Staying true to the roots of the business, Silva also continues to proudly serve Gifford's Ice Cream at the café. My family and I visited Café Maria on our recent week-long trip to the Cape. We spent the third day of our trip entirely in Provincetown. Before embarking on an early morning Whale Watch cruise, we decided to see if there were any good places nearby to grab a quick breakfast. Café Maria had great recommendations on Yelp so we decided to stop there. For coffee, my sister-in-law had an Iced Caramel Latte while I had a Hot Mocha. Both drinks were very flavorful and quickly woke us up for a day of fun activities. For food, we all decided to get some breakfast sandwiches. We opted to get them served on Portuguese Muffins, which are similar to English Muffins but much sweeter and fluffier. My wife had "Eggs, Cheese & Sausage", our son had "Eggs, Cheese & Bacon", sister-in-law had "Eggs & Cheese", and I had "Eggs, Cheese & Linguiça". These were excellent breakfast sandwiches and we were all happy with our choices! If you're looking for a cheap and quick breakfast or lunch in Provincetown then look no further than Café Maria!
