They had told me about the chocolate shop there and admittedly I was doubtful that their chocolates could beat another shop I frequently visit. I ate my words when I ate Aztek's chocolates. I have never had dark chocolate that was so smooth and creamy. There are a variety of fillings, many of which are locally sourced like Armagnac and saffron. The cost of a box of 40 bon bons was 1/4 of what I had been paying in a similar shop AND Aztek is closer. In addition to the chocolates, they have pastries, ice cream, crepes, specialty groceries, coffee, tea, and gourmet boxes. The gentleman that helped me was very kind and provided us each with a chocolate of our choosing to taste. I will become a regular here and can't wait to try each one of their delicious chocolates.

The store is between Saint-Gaudens and the large shopping area of Estancarbon. Parking is plentiful and near the store entrance. The baked goods are wonderful and VERY fresh. You must eat most items the same day or they become stale very quickly because there are no preservatives. Surprisingly, their croissants, chaussons (like apple turnovers), and pretzel rolls are excellent; it is not what you would expect from a chain supermarket. I also like their whole grain bread. The fruit and vegetables are well priced and fresh. I also really like their seasonal promotions like Greek week, when you can buy halloumi, the holiday items for Christmas, and American week which has products we would not have in the US. In an era where it is increasingly common to shop at hypermarchés, it is great to be able to support local businesses. Parking is tight near the market but there is the lot at "the Cube" two blocks away. It is open 6 days a week (closed Mondays), and is open 8:00 am - 2:00 pm every day except Friday and Saturday, when it is open 8:00 am - 7:00 pm.

However, when I broke my foot over the summer, I began to use their "Drive" offering which is their online ordering and pick up service or "click and collect". This has changed my weekly shopping and I am now back to being a regular SuperU customer. The interface for their online ordering is very easy to use and the categories are well organized. I appreciate that you have the option to allow for substitutions if an ordered item becomes unavailable during fulfillment. There are multiple opportunities for savings too. They also provide the choice to pay at either time of purchase online or pick up. Pick up is very easy. You can scan a bar code you receive via email or use your SuperU card to find your order. A sales associate then brings the carts to your car, alerts you to any substitutions, gives you your receipt and offers to help place things in your car. Great service!

The store is well located right off of the highway in a shopping center with several stores and an Intermarché gas station. I was very pleased to see the sushi station. This is the best supermarket sushi I have had since I have been in France. The rice was properly cooked, sashimi well sliced and the salmon was rich and buttery. The fruit and vegetable selection is abundant, as was the fish counter (poissonerie). The store is well staffed and there was a minimal wait at the check out. Lots of covered parking available.

During the lockdown, there was artisanal flour available for sale. My husband and I adore this bakery and try to buy all of our baked goods here when possible.
