I knew when Dr. Boyce called us on a Sunday afternoon to give us the lab results that he was just as concerned about our dog as we were. He made sure we got him back in quickly to start an effective treatment. While we were trying to figure out what was going on, we'd had our dog in several times, a few times without an appointment. I would give them zero stars, but that wasn't an option! I took my cat in to have a check up, then we decided to get her teeth cleaned and have a skull x-ray. We made the appointment, were told to have her fast before the procedure and take her in between 7:30-8:30AM. I did what was instructed to do, and left her in their care for the day. Let me just start by saying whoever the older receptionist lady is, really needs to learn customer service skills. I came in and she didn't even acknowledge me. Finally she asked what I was there for, called to someone in another room and then went about her way, without letting me know they were coming or tell me to have a seat, nothing. TIme went on and no word, so my husband called to see what was going on. They told him that "they checked for stones", but "weren't able to get to her cleaning and x-ray today". WHAT?! 1. Stones were NEVER mentioned EVER, even during her initial checkup. 2. The ONLY reason she was there was for a teeth cleaning and x-ray, and they "didn't have time"?! As you can imagine, he was pretty baffled. He went to pick her up and the girl there said that she got our cat and another cat confused, so she wasn't checked for stones. She was literally there from 7:30AM to 4:30PM with nothing done whatsoever. What I don't understand is why they didn't call us at all to tell us that they weren't able to get to her today. It shouldn't have taken all day for them to realize that or for us to call to get an update! I really thought this place was more reputable than this! I am beyond upset that this has happened and that there was absolutely no communication. Will NEVER go back and will NOT recommend to anyone! read more

So I looked on here to find a vet, and it was an emergency & I was scared. I went to a few other vets I found on here & I wasn't happy. I felt like I was being emotionally manipulated. Then I found Dr. Boyce, what a God sent in our life. I have a chocolate lab, she is a giant chicken dog who is anxious & jumpy. In our past experiences with different veterinarians she was always scared & terrified to go & always trying to run away from the veterinarians offices we visited. We met with Dr. Boyce, we immediately could tell that this is not just a job for him, but a passion. Dr. Boyce was very upfront about the cost of the treatment & explained what was needed to heal our dog, which was a huge comfort to me to understand what was wrong. I left our dog for surgery & came back. For the first time EVER at a vets office, our dog was calm, she was happy, & I could tell that the staff also shared Dr. Boyce's passion for animal care. After surgery Dr. Boyce again, explained clearly what was needed to continue treatment to have our dog live a happy healthy life. As we have come back for further check ups & care our dog always perks up when she meets with staff & Dr. Boyce. If you are scared & don't know where to go or who to trust, Dr. Boyce & his staff are the best! read more

I have been several times for both of my cats and the staff have been very kind, patient, knowledgable, and quick to do whatever they can to help. If you need any tests done, they take you right away and get it done quickly. I've had nothing but good experiences here! read more

Recently started using this clinic, prices are great and MOST of the staff is very friendly, hard to tell if someone is just having a bad day or they are like that all the time. Only downside is they are not easy to get into, usually have to wait a week or so before you can get an appointment. read more

Let me start by saying I have used Boyce Animal Hospital for many many years and have the utmost respect for Dr Boyce. He cares for his clients and their humans, he was very caring when we had to have our baby put to sleep, and while we were all crying he also got teary eyed and was very comforting to us. We will always miss our baby girl, but she is no longer suffering, she will always be in our hearts and minds, and we will always have Dr Boyce and his staff care for our fur babies. read more

Communication definitely not their strong suit. Had my dog micro chipped on 3/24 still on 4/6 " home again.com " has no record of my pet . Am going on vacation and would like to know my pet is registered, before I go. I paid Boyce for registration fee, and not getting any results or satisfatory answers, this can't be a difficult problem to resolve, if only they will call me and keep me informed. Would I recommend them ? NO...lack of friendiness from front office ( older receptionist) .no follow up instructions for spay service, no follow up call to see how my pet was doing after surgery, much difficulty to get this pet registered with the microchip, ( now I wonder if she was even chipped) will take her to different vet to see if in fact chip was placed. Was over charged for surgical fees which meant another trip to office for refund to my account. Still have not resolved micro chip issues, will post further after resolution of that problem. read more
