I was charged over $300 to swap tire pressure sensors from one set of wheels to another--a service that Discount Tire offers for just $100. When I questioned the cost, the service advisor told me the high price was because they are an "auto care shop" and not a tire shop, essentially admitting they are not suited for this kind of work. If that's the case, I'm even more disappointed that they didn't recommend I go elsewhere instead of charging me three times the going rate. When I brought this up, they doubled down and insisted their pricing was average--which it absolutely is not. If you're a woman, a college student, from out of town, or someone unfamiliar with fair pricing in auto services, I strongly caution you against bringing your car here. In my experience, they took advantage of my trust and overcharged me for a basic job. I will no longer be taking any of my vehicles here.
