There's a reason why modern pumps allow you to pay at the pump. When I pulled in here, there was a bay of pumps for self-serve that had one pump for unleaded regular, one for a medium blend, and one for premium. After selecting the right pump, I fueled by throwing a lever and watched the dial spin as the gallons and cost kept rolling along. I then had to go inside to pay with a credit card. Once inside, I became aware of how small the "convenience" part of the station was. They do offer a car wash here. I think they may even have a service station option on site. But it felt like a lot of the pumps weren't being used because only two people could self-fuel on regular even though there are six pumps in the station. They do not have a pre-pay system so the clerk comes out with you and stares at you while your pumping gas. The people are friendly but, its kinda ridiculous to have to walk in get the clerk, walk back out while YOU pump the gas. Then, turn back and walk back in to pay for it. That's not remembering the old days, times back then that they are trying to show, servicemen would come out check your tires, oil and clean your windshield while pumping your gas. I am not saying bring that back, but make it easier to pay for the damn gas!

I headed to the building to pay cash, and saw more notices posted, with some lame excuse about payment network, and another notice that said they were closed. Door was indeed locked. Other people were coming in and wasting time before coming to the same conclusion and leaving. Judging by how out-of-date the gas prices are, I'm guessing it's been closed awhile. They should at least turn off the gas prices sign and change their website to show closed, rather than incredibly good prices. OTOH maybe they don't plan to re-open, and don't really care.

I normally have pleasant experiences at this establishment, but the service was horrible last…read moreweekend. The pumps recently haven't been allowing you to type in your Fuel Rewards number. I forgot this, but quickly hit cancel on the pump, and proceeded inside so I could restart the transaction and be able to use my rewards. The attendant, an older man, was horribly rude and yelled at me. He clearly didn't understand what I was asking or saying, and he just kept telling me to "get out there and pump your gas! It says it's ready to go!" This happened several times. So not only does the pump not cancel your transaction even if you haven't picked up the nozzle, but then the cashier proceeds to yell at you because they don't know how to do it. It's fine if you don't know, but there's no reason to berate me because you don't know how to do your job. If the cashier or the pump would've known how to cancel then I would've proceeded across the street to BP, Road Ranger, Speedway, or Pilot. Any of which would've been better and that I would gladly give my business to.

This review is for the Soda Fountain (ice cream shop) only…read more Having read my friend Erin's glowing review, I knew I had to stop by this shop for dessert. The business occupies two buildings with the pharmacy on the right and the soda fountain on the left. Each has its own entrance, but they have an open passage way about halfway back into the shops. The Soda Fountain has a retro look with the black and white tiled floor, small round tables with metal chairs, and the walls are covered with displays of old pharmacy items. The counter stretches across the shop and has additional seating (fixed stools) there. The menu of available items is located on a couple small white boards. One features desserts while the other lists sandwiches they offer. I was surprised that a number of ice cream flavors listed had been crossed out, but at least they had the basics covered. And it isn't just the decoration that is retro...I ordered a full sized Banana Split for $3.75! It came with three scoops of ice cream, each having optional toppings to go with! I went with the works, so it started with a sliced ripe banana, then topped with vanilla, strawberry, and chocolate ice cream scoops in the long dish. They added marshmallow cream to the chocolate, chocolate syrup to the strawberry, and pineapple to the vanilla. Then came the whipped cream, chopped walnuts, and a cherry on top. Note that they ask if you want all the toppings, and since it is made right in front of me, I could say "no" to anything that I may not like. Really good and since it was the middle of the afternoon, I was able to chat with the staff about Brazil and other points of interest. Just a fun time with affordable and tasty ice cream. I won't say that the retro look made me feel like I did when I was a boy and sat at the counter in my hometown soda fountain/pharmacy. My mother-in-law and I each chose to order ice cream sodas. I had the strawberry-flavored. As the girl at the counter made them, she explained the process of what she was doing. The owner expects things made certain ways to ensure the maximum flavor and richness. I love that they have such high quality standards! While we drank our sodas, she brought us large glasses of ice water. That is unusual in this day and age. You either have to bye a bottle of water or are provided a small cup for luke-warm water. They also offer different sandwiches here in case you wanted to do lunch and dessert. This place is clean, service was beyond awesome, prices were extremely reasonable. Go here!

He has been here before and has always had good things to say about Russ Fisher Truck Parts. He said it just depends on how busy they are whether you walk around the yard to look and find what you're looking for by yourself or like today, a guy in a service truck took us back and brought us right to where we needed to be which was the Peterbilt section. The driver searched with us and the second mat we found was the one we wanted. He asked us if we wanted to go back to the office and wait while he disassembled some stuff to get to it and we said we would stay and help him. Instead of him having to get a forklift, the three of us flipped the floorboard up so he cut the shifter plate screws off. That saved all of us some time. We gave $200 for the floor mat plus my brother-in-law tipped the driver for helping us. We were in and out of there in about 30 minutes. Today was a good day.

When I arrived some guy pointed to the back door and told me the parts are back there. I walked into a giant junk yard and had to walk the whole place to find the area where the part might be. Guess what no parts to be found. I finally asked for some help and was told he didn't have time. Very RUDE, no interest in making a sale and completely disorganized. Will never waste my time there again!
